Early stockers taste like Alpo. Mushy Alpo.

I find the best trout tasting trout are caught the 1st few weeks after the ice forms.
Some very clear lakes have blue-green algae that give the trout a bad taste. Once
the lakes freeze over that algae dies off and they taste better.

My favorite time to load up on trout is when there's only 3-4" of ice. The trout cruise in
less than 10 feet of water then. I've even caught lots in 2 to 4 foot of depth. So you don't
need to venture far out to get them. We even caught some when the ice froze over on
a tiny trout lake from a dock. We just walked to the end of the dock and cut a hole in
an inch or two of ice. I miss doing that.

Looking thru an ice fishing hole in clear water is also a cool trip if you see a fish go by.

Sorry about dreaming about High Mountain Trout again.

I know let's talk about cannabis. :tiphat:

I've been curious about what part of CO you're in. Sorry if that's too forward. I'm just looking for general area or region. The only reason I ask is because I've been all over the high country in this state and love the different high alpine areas.

Here are some of my favorite ones from my travels across the state. I hope you don't mind me putting them up.

They'd get huge!! I'm glad my starts where on the small size! Height is an issue in there, so gotta keep em short. Wakeford was busting the seams last year!!

The big Loompas headband or star fighter lol in a greenhouse that would be a laugh.

I'd pr ably top it many times inside and keep it a low bush so I could put them into a srcog lol

Right!!! You know the story..... these are not what I wanted to run in here this summer. Time constraints, and other things left me with no choice!! I would prefer at this altitude a 7 wkr, but such is life. I plan to keep tangie user control topping, but not the leafy elohim!! She's going el natural.
