really? good job man, I am curious what he will answer. but its just speculation for fun from my side, as time is like big mountain with endless number of enters, exits and tunnels through, Minotaur´s labyrinth is nothing compared to that .. we want to get back, we will get lost as we are mortals, not immortals. Plato stated that all our discovering is just remembering.. but he believed that our souls are immortal. theoreticians of quantum physics claim it should be possible to get back-- theoretically. no technology and measurements for it yet, when we will have it, will we become immortal? ha! metaphysics! :D :D :D
strike my response . Greg just messaged me the NL5 was half Afghani /Half Hawaiian. .Bred by Herbie Nelson in Seattle . The Afghan was sourced and worked by Steve Murphy .. The cut was than given to the Indian and that made its way to Amsterdam vis Nevil , the rest is history . Greg is super cool to share that info . No idea what he’d be booted off ICMAG, not my business but he’s been more than gracious to me .

91Xmass super skunk is the underdog original diesel not as sativa as sour diesel, the original dieselXdnl is the sour

I wonder if that afghan hawaiian is the same one soma used in his nyc diesel
That may be it ... It would take incredible luck to get all those combinations together again to make ECSD or something comparable. Trying sure will be fun ..

Nice grab, I was lucky as well. I happened to score pack #1 seconds after he released them, just really blessed. Got the SSH x Super Skunk a few months back too. The f4s are on an extremely short list, are you starting yours immediately?

These were given to Joe via Nevil 10 years ago .. The bud porn was Joe’s work.

That’s not exactly the story. A friend of mine got them from Neville. He passed them to a mutual friend of ours and I got it that way. Just wanna keep that part straight because I already had people trying to discredit me over a small labeling issue that wasn’t really my fault.

Thx for clarifying that. I’m happy I got them.Glad you straightened out the details , I hope I didn’t add to the confusion . Peace , Bud ..

Yes, I will be starting a thread. I am pretty congested at the moment so it may be a month or three before i can fit them in. I want to run them all at once, as I will be making seeds too (of course, I mean c'mon). Not sure of my plan just yet but I do know I will be digging in.

Karma's A5s1s have top priority on my next vacancy, so these will be after the A5 goodies. Wow, if someone would have told me 3 months ago I would be awaiting starting these two amazing packs in 2020 I wouldn't have believed them.

Sincere gratitude and respect to Farmer Joe for his part in keeping these going and making them available, this is indeed a blessing.

:respect::respect::thank you::thank you:

I get what you’re saying .. It’s a shame I only have one pack , I’m not sure these will be released again . I’m doing due diligence to research to pick the best strategy to preserve. All and any feedback is appreciated. I’ve said it before , I’m no breeder . But that being said , I think I have a decedent eye for selection. I’m all about learning, for me that what it’s all about ..:tiphat:

It is exciting and a fun process. The better notes, refined goals and proper labeling the better your fruits can be. This way may be tedious in that it'll take multiple cycles but you get to F5s with every male on every female with all your notes and details. Select your best male and go for it...

At the end take 25 to 100 seeds of everything throw them in the same bag and there's your open pollination - if you'd want it but I think you'll have found your favoured progeny by then...

Solid advice and thx .. I have a few months to research.. I’ve been a fan of DJ Short’s breeding work . Ak Baked beans is another top notch guy who I look up to , He’s slammed currently and is selfless with his time when I ask him his about his selection process for males , etc ..

I'm fixing to say the hell with it and grow a few packs of new Sensi stuff out... Is that your cut?? She is beautiful! Would love to have it. You're lucky.

Back about 5 years ago (everyone was telling me I was wasting my time growing new Sensi stock out) I grew out a pack of Sensi Northern Lights. I had 5 females. Four phenos were identical to each other basically. Frosty, piney/cat pissy, a touch of spice and light earth. No sweetness period.

The 5th pheno was totally the opposite, almost to the point that I thought I had got some labeling messed up. Come to find out, it was the NL#5 pheno... It was wicked potent, sweet and skunky with maybe a light berry earthy nose... very pungent. Took a cut and ended up losing it after my second run with it. Everyone LOVED that cut and I would give anything to have it back. All it took was one pack to find it. It finished super fast and yielded pretty darn good... This leads me to believe there is still fire to be found in Sensi gear.

An old friend I used to grow commercial guerilla crops with outdoors, went all out about 8 years ago and did all sensi stuff. We had an absolute wicked Four Way pheno, circulated the cut for a few years and eventually lost it too. Was some of the best, high yielding, mold resistant stuff I've ever grown. Finished end of September, bright lime/light green buds that reeked of sweet skunk and coffee with sharp earth tones... It would mess you up.

You ever had experience with Four Way? I think I'm gonna give it a shot in the dark this year and a few others from Sensi as well. Would not be considering it if it weren't for finding that #5 a few years ago in one pack. I'm craving all those old school flowers again.

Awesome thread Bud... You're a lucky sob getting those beans, anxious to see how they turn out for ya. Make sure you make some beans... I would for sure!

4-way huh? Way to bring back that old school!! Nice to hear you had some good results with newer Sensi Genetics, so many classics in that vault. There was a Sensi thread recently with a lot of not-so-good feedback of the current state of their beans so it’s cool to hear some positives.

There’s a lot of Sensi stuff I’d like to run if it was worth the time - SuperSkunk, Afghan, NL5/Haze, G13/HP, California Indica (first “real” strain I ever grew back around 95’). Curious about that 4-way now too haha
