Yo Tonatiuh - Thanks for the compliment. I like how they're growing, too.

I was having brown algae outbreaks and think I finally have it under control with Physan 20 and Ducth Master Zone. Now the only thing in the res is Algoflash flowering formula (6-4-7) and Zone. PH is 5.5 and and PPM is unkown because my TDS pen broke. I have another one on the way from Sunstone Herbals.

A couple Master Kush pics

The 20 Jackberries are coming along nicely.

Tonight I started the final flush and filled my res with PH'd tap water and DM Zone. All the girls are at day 50, I think. :canabis:

On to the pics!

Master Kush

I realize I've neglected taking/putting up pics of the Maple Leaf Indica. Mostly it's because I didn't think the plants were anything special, until tonight. Check these out...

Right around the end of the month I'll start the chop.

Flowering Day 52

Flowering Day 52

I felt like posting some more bud shots. :monkeyeat

Also, tonight I checked on both MLI and MK the trichs under a microscope and they are mostly cloudy with some clear and even fewer amber. Right now even the few amber are very light. I want to take cut them when they have a little more amber, but that could be in a day or two! So I switched out the res and added some florakleen.

Hopefully the trichs won't develop faster than the florakleen works. :muahaha:
Cheers,

Plants are looking great! How would you say the Master Kush and the Maple Leaf Indica compare to each other in terms of bud production? I agree that there are not enough pictures or logs of Master Kush, which is the only reason I'm hesitant to try this strain (from white label).

Hydrofarmer and freeradical - Thanks for the kind words.

Freeradical, as far as bud development and node spacing, the MK performed better than the MLI. But I don't think DP Master Kush and White Label Master Kush are the same since they come from different breeders and have different parents. I haven't heard anything about White Label MK. What's in it?

Well all the girls finally got the chop. I've been slowly harvesting over the last 10 days or so, and tonight emptied the tent and cleaned out system.

I didn't weigh em this time, but this is by far the biggest harvest I've ever had. I'll do a follow-up with pics and smoke report after they dry and cure a few weeks (tried posting pics tonight but the site wouldn't let me). Off the top of my head, I'd say it's about 8 oz dry, but that's just a guestimate.

In the meantime, look out for my new thread documenting my sog from seed with 20 blueberry x Jack Herers that I just popped in the tent.

Cheers,
Mole

Keep sharing your MK pictures if you get the chance! It's nice to see what's coming up for me.

here's what my MK colas looked like right before chop:

I'm using a 150w HPS, the $20 dollar one from e-conolight. I got 1.9 oz of manicured buds from two MKs in 3.2sqft. Post your dry weight once you can so we can compare!

When I saw this, I asked myself "where are the roots?!?!" I haven't figure out an answer. I have no experience growing ebb&flow, so sorry if it seems like a dumb question. People always say more roots is better, but I don't see how you can pull off a plant like that in that small of a container. Is there something I'm missing?

Hey freeradical. With hydro you can use smaller containers than with soil, so that's (and a couple days too many of vegging) how the plant got so tall and lanky. I think if the environment had been better I could have gotten thicker colas. I probably shouldn't have topped these so each cola could get more light. Live and learn, I guess!

Mole - Any growing tips for MLI's? I got 4 growing in dirt @ about 6 weeks now - just topped them & found 2 males + 2 fems.

They are very aggressive growers & i read that they will get tall. Just transplanted them into 6 liter sq. pots & might move the girls to 3 gal depending on how they veg out. They will be going under a combo of 600W HPS + 432 T-5 lights in my tent.
How long did you have them in flower? Any smoke reports?
Thanks,
OY

OY, the two month jar cured MLI I've got isn't a one hit wonder, but three good pulls put me down and out with a big smile on my face. It wasn't grown in anything even approaching ideal conditions either. You will be very pleasantly surprised by those beauties you've got there.

Love those MK shots Mole!

Thanks southpaw, i was kinda hopin for a good medicinal buzz with the mli's i have (growin alongside some Blubonics & Hashplants). I have 2 friends with cancer that i'm trying to help out & these might just do the trick. I guess i'm supposed to be looking for the "Wilson" pheno whatever that is. Gonna seed all 3 of the strains i got running now for f2's & go from there.
