This Bubba x Sky s1 is Nice!!
but its lagging behind.
I'm not sure to replace it or not.
I don't think it will take advantage of the large pot.

I don't think it has the potential to get to be huge but i think this cross has some fire in her.

The Bubba is a kush that stays short and squat. Its not lagging behind imho. Its just that the leaves are bigger and the nodes are tighter so it just seems that way, cuz its energy is going into growing big leaves and more nodes instead of longer branches.

I think it will still yield heavy. I wouldnt replace it. Add another plant gorilla if you feel you need to make up for the lack of yield.

That's why I didn't do it last week, when I replaced everything else that needed replacing.

Hey Mendo, this grow is awesome. Your style of growing reminded me to feed the soil not the plants and the rest will fallow. The plants in my garden are in gopher baskets in the ground. It seems like every one on this web site is afraid of there native soil. When I saw you just fed the potting soil according to what the soil needed and the results you where getting I went and bought 200lbs of organic fertilizer manure and my results are almost as amazing. Thanks for the inspiration.

Is that purple stemmed blue dream a reasonably common pheno (like maybe 25%)? Have you ever seen or grown one before? Is it crossed with any thing to make it that way? Do the centers of the young leaves all have purple that gradients to green? I ask because a buddy of mine has 2 plants that look like that too.

This is the first one I've gotten with this pheno.
Its an S1.
Not much purple in the leaf centers.

i got some Bubba X OG going in my garden and its the shortest of the entire lot….but i double planted and am gonna get it nice and bushy and just do some training magic. she might be short but those nugs will have serious weight to them.

excited to see those GSC s1 results, I also got some GSC s1 going this year!! is the SKY related to Skywalker?

Hey Mendo, looking bomb man! I have a question fer ya, you ever have a random lateral branch just kinda like "die" off? I've seen it one other time and never knew what was going on. My garden is looking amazing, all plants are thriving to the max. I noticed it on two different plants, which are not the same strain. The very bottom lateral branch is looking super wilted, like it was cut off and just left on the counter for a day or two. I did notice that these two branches get the least amount of daylight and the branch is touching the soil, quite a bit actually. Lowest branch on the plant, I havent trimmed or pruned anything yet. Some of the leaves and nodes on the branch where kind of buried in soil just from hand watering and the loose soil raising up, lower leaves and branch get wet, drop down a little bit and sometimes they get covered in soil. You ever see anything like this? Its almost like the plant is just intentionally riding itself of this branch because it is not much use and resources can be better utilized elsewhere. Im not super concerned, like I said everything is looking amazing, but if this is a sign of some crazy shit I've never heard about I'd like to take care of it asap. Thanks again for your help Mendo.

Yes I have it happen to me. I think they are getting bumped and break at the main stem. I've seen it look rotten and soft at that junction to sometimes.

Not sure the cause other than ME watering, spraying or removing material. No matter how careful I am it happens.

I cant wait to see what the GSC s1's do as well as the crosses: GSC x SKY s1's and GSC x Bubba S1's!

My GSC s1's grow better than the CSC cutting, way more vigorous and have height to them all now around 6'-7' may be they will have some yield.

GSC is good weed BUT it is the worst producer I've seen hyped EVER!!!

I just finished up GSC x Blue Dream cross for next year!

I'm currently running her indoors in the cookie factory and unfortunately it's the last time I do.

Yes the Sky is the skywalker og and it blows away GSC in every way possible (but that's not hard to do).

It's nice everyone loves skywalker.
It tested at 19% THC last year.

I was going to run more sky this year, but i thought variety would be better and I had to see what these other crosses would do. To many good crosses, We will see how that works out for me.

I'm excited for my Fire OG x Skywalker OG's out there.
They are rock'in it.
