800 Gallon Smart Pot Grow show.

They are smart pots!
This year I had the soil tested.
Got a lot of great info about my soil.
Got some good advice from the soil scientist.
I'm still not straying far from my normal soil amending.
Ph is good and EC in not bad.
The soil is healthy and doing well, its only going to get better!!
I'm going to amend it different than past years.
I going to exclude some things based on levels already in the soil.
I'm going for more N than last year and less p-k.
All ORGANIC! is the way to go!
I throw in the kitchen sink!
I like diversity in my amending so I go for multiple sources of N-P-K and micros.
#'s start to stack with multiple sources. But I don't let stop me.
I use the recommended application rates for the product I'm using.
Nitro bat guano is 3#-5# per 100 square foot.
I do have one hell of an order for amendments!
About 4300# worth.
Its going to be a busy month!

Im glad to see this thread, I had just posted to last years thread before I found this one.
Mendo already answered my first question... about what kind of gear hes running....
but would you mind discussing your irrigation system?
this is my first time installing and using one and I want to build a system that will soak my pots and not just a drip line.

I'm workn on the GSC X Blue Dream s1 and Blue Dream x GSC s1.
I think some one has a cookiemonster, I heard of monster cookies too.
Sure, Irrigation is easy.
Keep it simple.
1/2" mainline to 1/4 soaker line. I just coil the 1/4 soaker around the pot a few times.
It will soak the pot if you let it run long enough.
I could not be happier with the 800's.
The best thing about them is they are 8.5 feet (2.5m) across!
They are like a swimming pools!

In Mendocino county their is a ordinance that allows cultivation of 25 plants.
My limit is 25 plants based on county guidelines.
If you stay with in the guidelines the PIGS wont mess with you.
Instead of planting 100's of plants.
My strategy the past few years is "MAKE THEM COUNT!"

Thank you Mendo. I assume your 1/4 line is perforated for a nice even soaking? How long does that have to run to saturate 800gal of soil?!
