800 gallon smart pot grow 2015

Those fuckers got my biggest girl this year. Also curious about the soil issue, I'd like to reuse the soil from her this year, but I don't want to doom my only other big female.

Big Up everyone.

1/4 would not move that much water that fast, but just run it longer if you need that much water.
I use 1/4" laser line 6" spacing.

never used 1/2".
The laser line gets clogged after a few seasons but can be cleaned by bending at the laser hole.

I cleaned all the lines this season. It took me a long time to do it but was worth it to me.

I think that I would have pressure problems with 1/2.
Unless I upgraded my main line.

Anyone have problems with emitters getting clogged?

Yeah. one of the collars around a plant clogged one me this week, noticed it was drooping at end of day, checked next morn while running, nothing out of any of the four emitters. Replaced it with a new one, cleaned the clogged one out for reuse. Running 4 each 1/2gph emitters on my pots. Working well so far.

Got the space cookies on the dark cycle yester/today. 12/12 starts tomorrow evening. Got them tied down to blow up.

Question for you....When growing that large Outside...How do u PH THE water to 5.5 to 6.5 ????

Do you use straight tap or well water Which is about 8.5 around here...and then just Adjust the soil to very Alkaline like around like 4.5...then when watering averaging out to 5.5 to 6.5???.....Thanks

I don't use 1/4" drip primarily because it clogs when any organic matter passes through it, however with 1/2" drip you can put a flush-valve on the end of drip runs in case any clogging occurs.

With 2" pvc pipe from tank to 1.5" valves, you should be able to hit about 4000 gallons every 60 to 90 minutes if that's what you need. Our valves are open for about 15 minutes for every watering - typical water consumption is 800 to 1400 gallons per 48 pots (~75 soil yards).

Yo Mendo, quick question for you, last year i was late to the game in setting up physical support systems in my 200 gal smarties...wound up losing a significant amount of my yield to some of the higher wind days once they loaded up...I noticed that early on your cage style trellis systems were about 4-5 feet tall, but now they are towering well above the tops and will support lateral branch weight along the entire height of the plant, how did you go about extending the cages, I was considering using some kind of roll of chicken wifre fencing material with between 4-6 inch squares but I have not found the ideal material for this...any suggestions would be supremely appreciated. we had a realy cold wet early summer in CO . . rained just about daily between april and late june . . .just now seeing the bright sunny CO summer days of norm but my girls are still about a month behind at only +/- 3 feet in height...I dont expect to get to the monsters I grew last year which topped out over 10-12' by harvest, but still have high hopes as Im going to simply plant a greater number of trees, either way I want to make sure they can grow without the stress of heavy weight and risking branches breaking....what is the best means of installing physical cage style support or such tall plants that they can grow into as the bush out and reach the 8-10' level??

the hell with wishing you "best of luck" ive followed your last three seasons and anyone who attributes this kind of outcome to luck, is mistaken...you have a super methodical process with all the variables within yout control simply locked down. . .absent any tragic weather events, its the hard work, attention to detail, and years of trial and error to find out what works best for your individual goals...you deserve to be crushing it with a garden that has everyone on here mouth watering and envious with slight jealousy....youve earned it. I respect your obsessive attention to detail and consistent practices that are proven via your own sweat equity. . . good for you brotha, keep killing it . .. I expect nothing less as should be the case.

labor of love my man . . .bottom line. good for you.

Schrews,
yes one time when I sprayed with azamax.

Have you sprayed the plants?
It looks like a reaction to a foliar spray.

how about your soil? how long have the plants been in the ground?

Killing it a usual mendo. Is that the plot where you have the Afghani#1 and Super Skunk? Just wondering if they are keeping up with your own strains.
