i have been kickin around the idea of using 1500 watters in a stadium for a while. could widen the room to 8 feet, and add 2 shelves on each side. 4 lights in a 14'x8' room would be pretty slick

7' Parabolics with 1500 Watt HPS

i have been kickin around the idea of using 1500 watters in a stadium for a while. could widen the room to 8 feet, and add 2 shelves on each side. 4 lights in a 14'x8' room would be pretty slick
I have the same size room and I would like to run 4 lights as well. What freakin type of hood would you use except for 7 foot parabolics? Maybe 4footer MAYBE.
Just to much space to cover.

Obviously yournot from Humboldt County! Havni lights all over the county is thenorm here.
I do need 20 ballasts! I have 20 for my two homes that i own. I would love to have more so i can return some. I have spent thousands on stuff.

Be careful here 30 outlets DOESN"T MEAN 30 LIGHTS
1 1000watt light per circuit. You can add a pump or fan etc but 2
lights and if you manage to keep them running without blowing a fuse or popping the circuit breaker and you seriously overloading the wires and as a result you could burn the whole place to the ground.
Grow houses and the people in them cause a great many fires. Even that 1500 watt ballast and light is to big for a standard circuit.
Before turning anything on do some research on electricity

Whoever said that 1500W lights are "Stadium Lights" is incorrect. So there you have it. I would really like to see someone do a true comparison of a 1500W and a 1000W. If it pulls a significant more amount than the 1000 I would start using them. They must not though because they have been out for a while and not many people use them.
