It's about time to start building my new tent. I have one question though. Is this a good 600w light?

Other-wise i would just stick with a reliable HPS mag. ballast (a bit cheaper) + SS2 hood + Hortilux bulb & never look back.

Seems like a real good deal to me, but I've been around long enough to where I'd follow Old Yeller's lead. Can't beat the SS2 for a reflector, and I'd be securer owning the Galaxy over a generic model. Just my

If $ is tight, go w/ the $200 set-up. That'll get you by just fine as long as that ballast isn't crap.
