600 watt - super lemon haze - romulan cross - 1776

Lets see whats growing in this one grow area of mine.

I have a total of 8 plants in this one area.

4 romulan crosses (variation of next gens)
1 super lemon haze (greenhouse)
3 1776 (white rhino/ducksfoot/federation romulan)

I haven't tossed any pics up before so thought I should. Not really a picture taker/poster BUT will post some flower pics as these girls take on weight.

Under a quantum 600 that FLICKERS here and there which bugs the shit out of me BUT the girls are loving this setup so far. Going to get some lumateks and compare the yield from the two using the same lamps.

These girls are in anything from a 2 gallon to a 5 gallon, 3 of the romulan cross girls are sharing a single 5 gallon pot simply because I want to see if the yield from those girls is any different from the girls in their own 5 gallons. If they are the same then I will be doing 3 girls per 5 gallon more often. Save space, soil and so on. Just as long as the girls are proven there will not be a need to remove them. These girls are all solid proven non hermie growing champs.

fyi... i've had lumateks flicker on me all day, no rhyme, no reason.. try global greenhouse or galaxy; no probs with those myself; i run 600s too btw

how far along are they?

They are in the 2nd week of flower there abouts. Will be done early october for sure, setting up a couple perpetual 600 boxes so I can pull every 30 days. Going to run a 600 and a 1k watt 4x4 box and see how they compare.

I enjoy testing different things versus simply assuming based on others opinions especially when most opinions are from outside or 3rd parties.

These girls are great, I messed with them all the time seeing what I could do to them to hermie them. Allowed me to weed out the cross dressers real fast. Light leaks, heat issues and anything else now are not problems for these girls. I know the local dispensaries will enjoy them, well I think the growers who pick them up will enjoy them that is lol.

side note, it is always irritating when you pick up a clone from a club and it hermies due to a simple light leak or when you lst or heat issue, nute issue and so on. I think people should put the girls through the works before they unload them to the world. Just my opinion I suppose, some strains are prone to hermie whether you want them to or not BUT still should be worked out correctly to remove that trait...

the lumateks flicker as well? well damn.... I really like this quantum besides that issue so if the lumateks do the same thing I might as well stick with what works for me.

not all of em... only like 1 of 3 at a time; coulda fixed it by now though... the global greenhosue and galaxy ones are nice because you can switch between 120/240 no prob; and the nextgens look sweet but are too new for me; untested is one thing i don't like when it comes to ballasts

my quantum does the 120/240 as well, just bummed on the flicker because I think when it fluctuates so does the light intensity so odds are not getting the full bang for my buck.

maybe I will pick up a lum and galaxy next and see how they do compared

I have a good 20+ cuts I took off these girls as well which I am going to use to setup my perpetual boxes. Once I get those setup I will take pictures of the completed cabs and the progress of my grows.

I have some more super lemon haze seeds and some thai super skunks that I want to go through and locate keepers. The thai super skunks will be done outside due to their potential size so those will happen next years outdoor season. Got to love having a med card to be able to grow big ass sativa dom plants like that and see how they do.

I want to locate thai super skunk males to pollinate all of my strains if a solid male is found. Most talk down on g13 labs BUT most actually have bad things to say due to 3rd party words and not personal grows of their genetics. I saw pics of the thai super skunk and love the sativa dom look of them and feel they will do well if anything in a cross.

Is that 600W light plugged into a power strip? What's the amp rating on the strip? Gotta be careful with that.

Yes it is and has a 15 amp rating.

Only things on the entire circuit is the light and a box fan on low.

What amp rating should I be running?

ya how do you deal with 2 1kw's lamps? would you suggest putting them on a totaly different braker than your other equipment

The romulan structure is more of a 50/50 split sativa indica from the look. The high itself is more sativa though for sure.

On the "1776" cross of mine which is white rhino x ducksfoot x romulan = that is more medicinal and has a larger yield than the federation romulan had. These have had the most trich coverage than the fed romulan and next generation romulan that I have grown and am happy with how my cross is coming.

The super lemon haze is still in the testing phase as far I go. Have a few more seeds I want to pop to locate OTHER phenos and then decide on a keeper. Mainly want the super lemon haze for some crosses that I have planned. Super lemon haze itself is pretty solid smoke none the less. Potent is one way to word it.

Size wise, the tall girls (romulan) are over 3 ft, the 1776's which were topped are at 3ft maybe a hair under and the super lemon is still working its way up (longer flower time than my other girls) and has time to go for sure.

Once I start seeing weight on them (still under 30 days flower) I will post some fresh pictures of each girl and have them labeled so everyone can see the various traits.

didnt read much of this post but i did read that u got super lemon haze like i do, and to my experience i cant hardly get my slh to rrot from its clones.

I got about 50% to root for me so far, what has worked so far is to allow LARGER clones with multi nodes under the soil versus small clones. It takes a while to root BUT does happen.

All I do is this.

Beer cup of fox farms ocean forrest, rootone rooting powder, water as needed, done.

I will be getting clones to the clubs in my area on the next run, after I test her strength and yield. I like how she is shaping up personally and love the leaf structure. Can't wait to see how the trich coverage will be.

On the next run I will also run all her sisters, see which one(s) are the keepers and possibly offer SLH #1 and SLH #2 assuming there are only 2 solid pheno's in the bunch. I am hoping for 3 phenos, sativa, indica, hybrid. Be able to do SLH1 SLH2 SLH3 and offer great medicinal clones in 3 very different versions.

I am still working on my romulan crosses so I don't see myself getting those clones out anytime soon. Getting some deep chunk from Tom as well, so stoked to run those. Wanting to get that male pollen and dump it on all my girls. Make a ton of seed and enjoy finding the best f2's imaginable after the initial f1 breeding of course.
