This is my new show, version 1.0.
I'm currently running a 600w grolux hps and a 400w phillips CMH. Honestly, I don't see any significant improvement in growth in veg compared to my standard MH, and this is my first time using it in flower.
My medium is 50/50 coco/perlite. Actually in this run I've mixed in some old carbon from my last scrubber. I like how it makes the coco feel, other than that, I don't see any difference.
Nutrient are GH, with head's 6/9. I use a die kit to test my ph. I PH the water to yellow (about 6.0), and then add the ferts, which ime, drops the PH to 5.5. I haven't tested the water after adding the nutes in forever... I've been hand watering, but now that I'm running clones I've hooked up drippers, I just need to fix a leak on 2 of the hoses. That's going to make life a little easier.
My exhaust is a Fat Boy from HTG, with like 440 cfm... not positive on that. My intake is a good old stanley blower!
I'm currently handling a little thrip problem in my veg room, and I've spotted them in the flower room too... assholes.

I do have one question though. What purp am I growing? I believe it's either urkel or GDP, but who knows these things for certain... I'm running 8 of them in 3gal bags. Also 2 bag seed plants.

Updates for the next run are going to be another 600 to replace the 400, and more plants! I'm going to add another level, and train the plants with poultry netting.
Currently vegging under a 400 MH: Fairlight Cinderella99, Reservation Labs Sugar Cane Kush and Grape Skunk, BOG SourBubble and Bogbubble, Ed Wood's Chronic F2, Cocktail Frank's Straw D x ChemD Bx1 2 phenos, more purp... ummm... CSG SSSDH in the fridge along with Mandala Safari Mix...
:jump: I think that's enough for now.:jump:

This is the Straw D x ChemD I'm smoking from my last grow... You can see the banana's... That's when I found out I had a light leak. No seeds though, so that was nice. This pheno is great smoke, definitely Straw D dominant.

Your tents look clean.
I don't know what type of purple you have, but it definitely looks sativa-ish.
What did you end up doing about the thrips? Horticultural oil spray?

Thanks Bababooey! I've had some experience with setting up rooms. A lot of it being bad, ha ha... I found that dirty setups attract bugs. I've actually got some coco on the ground right now that's driving me nuts, I think I'm gonna vacuum it tonight.

I sprayed azamax yesterday, because Monterey isn't available locally. I've got good reviews on the amamax, so I'm optimistic. I'll let you know in a week or so...

Whats that red thing in the middle of the veg tent? A timer of some sort?
How's that Azamax treating you? I like GH stuff, but it's somewhat unclear to me what Azamax is actually made of...

lol, the red thing is part of the fan, the knobs control the fan speed. I decided I needed more space in my veg, so I hung it up. I'm much happier now. The Azamax hasn't exactly knocked em dead... I was told by the guy at the hydro shop it's a Neem oil extract or something like that... Basically suggesting it's more effective. The plants look happy, but I still have thrips crawling around. I'm thinking that they'll die in time, after they've eaten the Azamax off the leaves, and won't be reproducing, as I"ve drenched my coco in azamax. They'll get another treatment on Friday I think.

More Veg shots... It's really more exciting right now than the flower room, but that'll get updated later, before the lights come on.

Yeah, I'm starting to see that... I just wish I knew, cause it has that fruity pebbles taste that everyone raves about. Maybe someone will be able to say further into flowering.

Green magic and azatrol

Green magic and azatrol

Last run an foilar spayed magic green and azatrol mix. I have to say while I was spraying it religiously it worked great but if I let it go a couple weeks I had creepy crawlers. So I wouldn't say it killed them but I swear by the magic green. Your plants will look so green they'll look fake. And it will also prevent any white powdery mildew. Keep up the nice work.

couple more weeks into flower you "should" be able tell, but you never know. I had some seeds from a GDP plant that never once showed a sign of purple. The plant yielded just like GDP but never put out the colors. I can always tell a phenome in a strain by it's leaf patterns. The way a plant grows is a dead give away
