The only thing that scares me is the partriot act.

Section 802 of the US Patriot Act creates a new federal crime, "Domestic Terrorism". It extends to "acts dangerous to human life that are a violation of the criminal laws" if they "appear to be intended...to influence the policy of a government by intimidation or coercion," and if they "occur primarily within the territorial jurisdiction of the United States." In essence, this can make it illegal to stage protests against the government or to even speak out if it can be construed and "intimidating" or "coercive". Interpretation and application of this section is terrifying in itself.
