6 New Dutch Passion Strains

I

Iron_Lion

I havent seen much talk about these, bout time DP came out with something new. I have no experience with DP seeds just thought I'd share.

Dutch Haze® (indoors, greenhouse)
New!

Dutch Passion customers have always craved a 100% Haze strain together with reduced flowering times and respectable yields. Over many years we have bred literally hundreds of Haze plants from both USA and Dutch genetics looking for this unique Haze. Then, in 2009, we had a major breakthrough!

The result is Dutch Haze, the flowering time is an incredible 9-11 weeks for a classy ‘up-high’ and true Haze experience. All Haze fans should try our Dutch Haze, the yields are generous and it grows with a rich abundance of sparkling THC covered flowers that have the true Haze aroma. Plants grow tall, 80cm - 120cm.

Dutch Haze is a rare find, the result of extensive breeding. The strain has good mould and spider mite resistance, it is 90% Sativa/10% Indica. However the Indica parentage affects only the flowering and yield characteristics. The smoke, as you will find out, is 100% pure Haze. Dutch Haze – prepare to be amazed.

flowering period: 9 – 11 weeks
harvest time outdoor: November

Mekong High ® (indoors, greenhouse)
New!

This acclaimed new addition to the Dutch Passion family is a particularly potent indoor/greenhouse strain with an incredible soaring sativa high, using pure genetics directly from the Laos/Vietnam jungle area. The main features of this special strain are the incredible ‘happy and smiley’ sativa stone and the high yields associated with the huge growth potential.

Our smoke test team gave this a top-class rating, an old school ‘retro’ high with a great herbal taste. It has a refreshing aroma and a notable long lasting clean ‘up’ high that clears the mind and completely relaxes the body. The high is good for socialising as well as creativity.

The plant can have brown or purple colourations during late flowering and is resistant to mould/bud rot. This is an ideal strain for the outdoor/greenhouse grower that is looking for pure, unadulterated jungle genetics that will remind you of the great Sativa smokes of the 70’s.

75 % sativa - 25 % indica

Height outdoors: 1.50 - 2.00 meter

flowering period: 8-9 weeks
harvest time outdoor: 2nd week oktobe

The Ultimate (indoors, greenhouse)
Your favorite Variety will understand

Through careful breeding we have created one of our most important strains, we call it “The Ultimate” as it combines some of the heaviest yields we have ever seen with genuine connoisseur quality.

It grows to a height of 60-75cm, ideal for the indoor grow room. Flowering time is 8-10 weeks, with explosive bud growth in the last 2 weeks. The Ultimate (50% Indica, 50% Sativa) will take plenty of nutrients during the growth cycle and is resistant to moulds and bud rot making it a good greenhouse choice too.

Our growers have never seen a plant yield as heavily with this level of quality. This is a recession busting strain of epic proportions and is guaranteed not to disappoint. This strain is already setting new standards amongst the Dutch commercial growers and is set to become a Dutch Passion legend.

flowering period: 8 – 10 weeks
harvest time outdoor: second half of October

Dutch Cheese (indoors, greenhouse)

For the creation of Dutch Cheese ( 60% Sativa, 40% Indica) our breeders took the best cheese genetics and crossed them with various other strains. We were looking for the ‘perfect match’, where two stable strains can be crossed to give a new variety that improves on both of the parents. The ideal genetics to improve Cheese eventually came from our “Euforia” - a potent Skunk selection and a personal favorite of some of the Dutch Passion team.

The crossbreeding with Euforia has not compromised the cheesy qualities at all. But it has given improved potency and significant yield improvements, growing to a height of 60-80cm with lots of sticky side buds that show some internodal spacing that will help prevent bud rot/mould – an important feature for a heavy-yielding variety. This strain is for indoor/greenhouse.

flowering period: 8 – 10 weeks
harvest time outdoor: second half of October

La Lybella (indoor)
New!
La Lybella is a 90 % sativa variety. Its characteristics are a great addition to our seed collection.

La Lybella is an open plant with many well developed buds. The spicy scent makes this variety a pleasant smoke. The clear, energizing up high makes you want to move! Don’t use La Lybella before going to sleep. Heavy THC accumulation starts the fourth week of flowering. Give seedlings at least two weeks of 18-hour days before flowering for maximum yield. Medium yield of excellent sativa indoors. Little trimming. Outdoors till late October (pest resistant). Grown outdoor in the Mediterranean La Lybella stands for a superior Sativa yield.

flowering period: 9 - 12 week
harvest time outdoor: 2nd week of Oct.

the ultimate

the ultimate

just finished the ultimate 3 weeks ago and was quite pleased. 5 out of 5 germed, grew quite well, as their clones are now, and no hermies. After a couple of weeks curing, the smoke is smooth, fruity, and potent. As this was my first grow, the results in yield should get better. I am quite happy with 7 ounces of cured and manicured bud, with bottom half of the plants drying after more weeks of light. probly another 1.5 ozs. of smaller bud to come.

I think DP gets a bad rap. They are kinda of the Toyota of strains, solid reliable gear but nothing real exciting for the enthusiast. Oasis, White Widow and Skywalker were all very good to grow and smoke - fairly uniform among plants from seeds. Solid to great smoke. I would buy their seeds again.

dp is not so bad ive grown

skunk 1 = anxiety(psychos)
passion 1= strooong grow it in 1999
super haze = anxiety racy heart but i found one pheno out of some f2s with no paranoia
strawberry cough= can be racy as hell but you can find the anti anxiety pheno in a pack that is wonderful
vodoo = wonderful buzz
orange bud= love it
white widow= to strong
dp not bad at all except a lot of different phenos

but i got got one terrible hermie out of the super haze in 2001
& the skunk as many knows fuck up your mind so does the super haze, causing anxiety
thats why i avoid anything with skunk & haze in it,thats bad weed for your brain

I have grown DP; Oasis REG and FEM (great potency but hermie phenos present in REG and FEM seeds), Twilight REG(complete HERMIE CRAP) Purple Star REG (no hermies but lowest potency ever from any strain I have ever grown!) Khola (very small yeild and average potency complete waste of time). Orange Bud, (nice flavor, good potency, no hermies, best they have).

I will NEVER buy anything from DP they have been SUCKING ASS for yrs now and anyone that wastes thier money on them will prolly get shitty results. The proof is in the results guys GO somewhere else!

Oh and here is the proven report that THE ULTIMATE is not what they say it is.

and a follow up. http://www.icmag.com/ic/showpost.php?p=3261079&postcount=247
Read the entire thread if you want, but you can see how they really perform.

Sorry DP but your genetics have gone DOWN hill.

What would you recommend - an autoflower like "Purple Jems"? I was looking for some 'results' in you albums. A Ruderalis cross is better than any of the DP line? Come on Brother!

I saw the posts. Scrogerman's plants look way over-fertilized - it is amazing they survived. The genetics always get blamed - it is never the grower's fault!

...actually Scrogerman ended up being happy with his grow. You have to admit he is a bit of a rollercoaster..

Come on brother!??? whats your BEEF bro? did I compare DP strains to any AFs bro?? I really dont agree with it when people put words in my mouth. I never said a Ruderalis cross is better then any of the DP line,, where do you get your quote from bro? :moon: And for that matter actually YES a lot of AF strains ARE better then the HERMIE CRAP DP has been selling, proof in the results bro! And what about the NOT PURE AF crap DP tried to pass off recently as Auto-Flowering, early reports, granted they are not mine, show Unstable Non AF and AF mixed type plants. Ya real stable breeding work there! DP WAS GOOD at one time,, but that time seems to have passed.

I love AFs yes but I also focus on NON AF strains aswell,, I grow in well tollerated Organic Teas and soils and I can tell ya the DP strains I listed are exactly what they are.. Orange Bud was the best I got from DP so if you must order from them then i would recommend Orange Bud. Oh and sorry bro I deleted all my albums, my pics where being stolen and used on other sites and people claiming the pics as thier own.

Peace ICC

I grew out Oasis,Skywalker and Strawberry Cough. I got hermies on Oasis and SC. They where all good smoke though. The best was Skywalker. I would pick off there naners that where on the SC no seeds grew. The Oasis I did not notice until the buds where cured I found seeds in them.

Doesn't sound like anything new. Just another reshuffling of Amsterdam genetics it appears. That doesn't mean it isn't good smoke, but it will probably have that 'generic dutch' taste. I haven't grow any DP gear , and I've been thinking of buying a 5 pack standard of Blueberry. Not too worried about the hermie issues because I've heard the same about Greenhouse Seeds. Having several GHS strains under my belt , and never had a hermie occur in my garden. My worst problem was that some seeds did not germinate and rotted. Although I do know of a grower personally that a hermie did occur.:dunno: Plus, I trust DJ Shorts genetics. A good BB daddy could dust my ladies and make some delightful flavors!:greenstars:
