I would hate to see any problems because you left the change out too long, 6wks is TOOO long bro, you are asking for trouble even in a system your size, What size Res & Bucket Load are you running there, looks like a lot of litres. Yeah get changing that Res Solution Bro' & You are gonna have a smashing crop.

Ps-Do you tuck your leaves to expose the bud site to help make bigger buds at all, or do you leave them buds shaded by leaves?)

because im greek and im noob in hydro.
..imagine i ve learned engish from the treads i have read..truth!

i know 6 weeks is tooo long but after all that i ve read
i deside to do it without change..just in flush.
wrong.! now i know..that is experience man and
i dont have it.she comes time after time.

well..i have 6 container and 1 controler which is connect with one
rez 140l with staight RO water and top off the controler with float valve.
my sustem can handle is 80-85l and im thinking upgrade for 110l or so..
my water pump has 650l/h power and for bubbles i have
1 air compresor hailea 15w and 2 singles air pumps(for controler).
im glad you notice the leaves..in think about it 2..
i have lotssss of leaves.more then buds.and, yes makes shadows
and covers others tops.i dont prune easily leaves..i love green leaves! any way..you have something to suggest me scroger?

OK, Push All Leafs Down, out of way, So Buds in Shadow Can See More Light. If You Leave in Shadow, it is NOT Good dude'. Show Buds to light and they Grow BIG Ass MoMMa Buds!

My understanding of Lucas is it is a minimal amount of GH nutes (micro and bloom, but skipping grow). I use the standard GH line and mix of (2micro 1grow 3bloom 1diamond nectar 1BecauZZ Bloom) for flowering and (2micro 3grow 1bloom 1diamond nectar 1BecauZZ Grow).

With RDWC you need much less nutes than other hydro or soil. I tried to go more towards the Lucas formula but found my garden suffered so I went back to my tried and true blend of Hydro sauce listed above.

The lucas formula is 0/8/16 g/m/b at 1300ppm in RO water if under hid lighting. I'd try to bring up your nutrient ppm to at least 800ppm I think 300ish is just too low imho.

i made it! i change my water after long long time..
first time i did the schedule of general hydroponics.5-10-15/gallon.

in 80 litres of water i add
300ml bloom
200ml micro
100ml grow-lolll,first time in my grow-
100ml diamond nectar.
i didnt add cal-mag because i add grow this time.
after 2 hours my EC level seems to be stable at 2,0 and the ph 5,7.
i hope drop a litlle bit more in next hours..

Next time try using unadjusted nute mix/add-back or straight tap water(dechlorinated) instead of ph up, No need to add more chemicals than nessesary unless of course its beneficial.
in my experience buddy it aint a good idea to add the both at the same time, but whatever works for you i suppose, mix this with that to give you potassium phosphate, mmm, is that how it mixes in soulution though, i dont know? if that was the case all the books and lit i have ever read are wrong then. A very good point you make. In a complex solution like a hydroponic res. you could very well cause some insoluable salts to form and precipitate, imbalances crazy ph spikes... Thanks for the heads up. I'm a professional chemist and usually work under much more controlled conditions; you mix posphoric acid and KOH in water alone they will form K phos and KHPhos depending on the ratio but in a res who knows. Thanks for the heads up.. and thanks for the kind words...tjo can't wait to see some more pics with the new nutes...

Yeah its crazy what gets over looked in this game when your staring out lol,
Mix H3po4 & KOH in the same solution and it goes milky, shitty fuckin horrible, you can just see this reaction aint a good one, it does look like something is binding or precipitating, i would never do it again, lol it was about 19 years ago when i last did that.

Nice job tjo. The girls are going to thank you for the flush. What I do this far in bloom is cut of the leaves that are blocking bud sights thats it nothing more nothing less. This will help your budz get nice and dense you dont want fluffy budz right. After your nutes settle bring that ph up to 6.0. Did you trim all the under growth? All in all very nice first hydro grow.

this is my first update in 2010 and is not so good!
yesterday i come after a litle travel and my ec was at 2,4 and
ph about 4.to much nuts i guess.the plants looks ok expept
some heat stress and fox tails in the leaves.
i fix the problem with ro water and i wait today night what
my readings tell me..
i prune some leaves-not many- and im thinking again to switch
my 600 to 1000.
the under growth is pruned expept the last 2 plants because i cant prune so deep in my room.1,80x0,80.

tjo things are looking great i told u its was gonna be a huge bush lol how far under the canopy does the light stop penetrating? i started wiyh 6 plants in my set up but ended up running 4 for better light penetration that and i hate trimmimg popcorn buds but your grow is looking good btw i too dont change out water until the flush if u have a good meter and know what your girl wants and likes no need to waste all the h20

my plants looks much better in photos.
yesterday i hook the 1000 hps. no problem with the temps yet.
i prune more leaves and now ic some buds..
i realized that my reservoir has 300 ppm.i thought the ppms
are almost 0. thats the reason i have 2,0-2,2 ec.
im gonna leave my plants in that level.i wanna see the higher limit without burnings.
some hairs are pal brown and some colas seems to get huge.

the biggest mistake in this grow was the veg time.
i have 6 bushes in small small place.the light is not enough
for those plants.also this strain has lots and big leaves and
stops the light about 20-30cm from the tops.
im sure i have many pop corn buds but i learned from this grow
many many thinks. the other will be better and i dont make again
1 month veg.
my next run will be sog with the min time of veg and 12 plants..

im watching your thread 2 and i have to say.
if you are curious 1 time im 100.
in the same place,with 600w i heat 400-450g in soil.
my target is half kilo but seems like dream now.
soil with hydro is like day and night so experience and knowledge
comes slowly inside the grows..
when the harvest comes then i let know..

I can't wait to see them explode when you hit them with so much more light!

this one is clone from the top of mom...
my question is..the tops are better for clones??
are more vigorous then the low branches??

i ve read that strain- big bud from hemcy seeds- needs 9 week
flower.
i hope in the next 2 weeks my buds become big.
if dont fucked up.
