Tjo yeah pk 13/14 is all good for a booster when to add it in your grow i dont know? maybe the line of nutes you are using will have a booster in thier line of products as well?

The pros will have to help you out with this as im still learning im sure someone will chime in and give you a hand...

I must note that your canopy is very even Def some BIG buds on the way mate.

great work tjo,really!with a 1000w you can expect really big buds!
my two cents here:
you are now at beginning of bloom,if you use too much N in the rez you'll have a lot of stretch and delay flower production.I don't know Lucas formula,never use this nutes,but if you can,stay low with N.
You can use p-k 13-14 as well from now to let low level of N.

If you can put a fan under the canopy,they really appreciate it.An airflow give fresh air to the leaves,and they can absorb more carbon.
The greater absorption by the leaf is in the under page of it,where are more stomes(don't know if it's the right word)

another great thing you can do it's to add any carbohydrates supplement in the tank like black strap molasses or any specific product.Doing this you'll provide plants a lot of substances they already produce themselfs,so they can focus energies on bud production.You also increase the brix value,that is the overall quantity of sugar,the ''sweetness'' of the plant.

hi my friend from the next door country.
i see your thread and you are doing great.mpravo.
i dont use lot of N because lucas formula dont have flora grow
in.i only use micro and bloom.20ml micro and 40ml bloom in 10litres.my ppm are around 1000.
when i use in the past pk 13-14 in soil,my plants smells chemistry.i stop use it 2 years now.maybe with hydro is different.
will see...
my inline fan takes freshair from outside and heats straight
in the containers.also with a small tube my air pump sends
cold air in the roots.if the plants becomes monsters then,
i add 1 more fan down there.
i dont know nothing about mollases..can you suggest me
something??

my main problem right now is the 1000 HPS.
yesterday,before open the light,and after 10 days 12/12
i deside to change the MH with the HPS.
HPS dont work...i change it with 1 other 1000hps and nothing..
darkness...so i put again the MH and in a second,start lighting.

what the fuck??my lamps are good and my ballast also...
what can be wrong and the HPS lamp dont start?

Use Clearex not molasis. Molasis is VERY thick and can gum up your system. Clearex is just liquid glucose and sucrose (two types of sugars). It works great!

In my town I would just drive my ballast and bulb into the hydro shop, they would check them out and sell me what I needed. My Lumatek digital ballasts are supposed to spark MH and HPS, but I have only used HPS.

Maybe it takes longer to fire the HPS bulb. Run some tests after the lights go out if you have a second room you could test the bulbs in. Is there a MH / HPS switch on your ballast?

can i use just glucose and sucrose ?

my ballast was magnetic.no digital ballast in my country.
last year i had a place and i made some grows with this.
i used mh and hps and i had no problem.
yesterday i try with 2 bulbs.today i put other bulb.
will see in 2 and half hour..

Here is how I flush. I use RO water and add Clearex 10 - 20ml per gallon. When all is said and done my RO and Clearex water is between 30 - 50 PPM. The sugar in the Clearex helps release the salt build up in the roots.

I drain my system daily and replace with this flush mix, until the system is under 100PPM then I just let them sit and wait to get chopped.

You can use other sugars or even molasses but I would suggest something that is easy for you to dissolve evenly before you place it into your system.

i can find clearex in europe..all that time i search for clearex but
i dont find it in euro hydro stores.

my hps WORKS.when everything is ok the problem must be
simple...the bulb wants more hand power to screw.

big green honestly i dont know...but my opinion is leds sucks.
thats the reason i bought it.i ve see grows with leds but i dont believe.so i deside to make my own experiment.
my leds are 4 generation and has some orange leds.
i want make scrog my single dwc bucket.today i change it
with a bigger bucket. i believe 2 weeks is enough time to fill
the screen.so i anything goes well in 2,5 months will
see what the leds does.

I suggest to do a crop on higher branches instead of cut.

my room is so narrow-80cm- and i cant prune the lower
branches of the last 2 plants because of it.
i do prune yesterday all my lower branches from the first 4 plants.
i felt like tarzan.lolllll
also i tied my tops to keep then low as much i can.

i dont feed them N.. the only N my plants gets is from micro..
i dont use green botlle.i have height in my room so stretch
is not my problem...
i think my problem is my rez temps. the 6 last hours from
the 12/12 the temps rise in 25c. maybe they needs less light..

25 degrees is a little warm, but if your plants are healthy they will be fine. I never have used a res chiller before this year and I had summer temps that make 25 look cool.
