5x9 room temp and air flo ideas...

Hey guys like i said before im helping my boy start a little room at his house we framed in a secret room in his house but im wondering how we are gonna get proper temps and air flow through the room.

if you can imagine his basement split in half by a concrete support wall and then one side of that a 5x9 was framed out. I was thinkign of putting a vent in the wall we framed it in going in and maybe haveing the out go through the top of the rafters over the support block wall.


FOr tempature control im at a loss i dont know how i will 2-3k and keep temps down without a a/c

i was thinking about making a vent outside that draws the air in in the winter and out during the summer..? THis a bad idea? the other end was gonna circulate over the rafters and into the other side of the basement... what you think no go?
