5x10 room, 4000 watts, A/C, Co2, too much?

Never grew with reflectors before so I'm asking. Are they going to get bleached out or is it going to be awesome? My A/C's are oversized fwiw.

was planning on picking up some blockbusters but I'm open to suggestions. If I could get (an easy)5 pounds from this room that'd be great. What do you guys think?

4 sounds like a little too much in my opinion but I think you could do 3 1000w fixtures in there. With 3 lamps you can still easily get 5 plus pounds when it's dialed in.

I ran 3x600hps in bigkahuna hoods in a 5x10x7 tent. my consistent hourly/daily temps were 73* and 40% r/h. my temps only went up or down 2* ever. I know you said you wanna run 1k's, but just wanted to give you an idea on temps. I also ran an 8000btu portable a/ unit during lights on. I also grow underground.

You can run a sealed room without glass it's the best way to do it. Since its sealed up you just need to make sure you don't run out of co2 for your plants and you have proper cooling/dehumidification. You have to be especially careful of rising humidity at lights out. Once you take the glass off I swear you will never go back. Blockbusters do have a bit of a hotspot without it but not too bad if your circulation is adequate.

ya 4000w in a 5x10 is a lil much. im using 4000w in a 10x10 room .. with 0 issues with small growth even on the furthest rows from the light.. nice big buds.. but i change my bulbs every other grow now.. trying to upgrade to gavitas.. with gavitas u could use 3 600s and get a better yield then 4 1000s se bulbs.

i think hes running a sealed room.. means he needs that glass.

Kinda sorta. Was going to exchange air from my main room(outfitted with CO2 and oversized A/C's) into this room. Decided I'd prefer a passive intake + a staggered harvest over the headache of exchanging air and trying to get alternating rooms to play nice with each other... This room was used for storage(coco, ballasts, stakes, etc), I started thinking I could put this room to better use. I came up with 3 Super Sun 2's over a 3x8(a little over 3ft wide) trellis. This is what it looks like:

Threw some moms in there(trying to get some smoke for 4/20, fingers crossed they finish in time).

Under 600's at the moment but I'll be switching 'em out for 1000's and flipping the switch today or tomorrow. Let me know what you guys think. Constructive criticism is welcomed(I'm sure I overlooked something - need to get an oscillating fan in there). I will def let you guys know what kind of yields I pull(strain: OG). This is my first time flowering horizontally so all input is appreciated.

It looks great! I would use the 600 watters myself and I run 2 1K watters in a 4x8. The 600 have a slightly higher lumen output per watt so you get more bang for your buck plus flat canopies are really well suited for 600's. Also, if you can push air without the 90 degree turn at the end of the line or add a duct boosting fan, it will help with temps if you increase the wattage as well as extend the life of your bulb. Your room is really going to rock either way if you can handle the heat.
