Man as i sit here with some most outstanding hashish made from one of my favorite sativas,I,m thinkin I should just come on over to the Dam ond share with everyone at the Legends of hash dinner.I didnt really plan to go to the Cup but this sounds really fun!!!!!!!!I usually spend time in the Dam around Jan. due to less tourists but this Legends of Hash dinner has got me all wanting to jump on the next flight and haul ass over there. :rasta:

P.S. thanks Sam and others for
putting this event together.

Argh. Next year would be much better, so that resin gets to sit for a while, does one get invited if he or she enters some hashish?

To be invited you need to be a friend of a friend of a friend.
Make something special next year and I will make sure you get an invite.

I made some amazingly psychedelic ZamalHaze hash last year, that strain has really small trichome heads so I used my friend's 9-bag set and the lowest 3 mesh sizes yielded more trichomes than average, the 73 and up yielded less than usual. I mised the 73 and lower sizes and lightly kneaded it and it quickly became a really dark, sticky piece of hash. I don't often make hash so I'm no expert, but that was by far the best hash I have ever smoked, it retained the taste and psychedelic effect of the ZamalHaze buds and I thought the hash was very like a concentrated extract in it's flavour and effect, isn't that how hash should be?

I've collected up about 500g of material, a mix of buds that had mould, tiny popworn buds and trim. I only included leaves with plenty of visible resin, all fan leaves and bigger bud leaves went into a seperate butter pile. I just invested in a new set of bags and a washing machine. Ilife very generously gave me a 220 zipcro screen bag so one weekend soon I will get me 10 kilos of ice and make a load of bubble. I reckon it will take a lot of bubble making experience before I have something fine enough for the legends of hashish dinner tho.

Hope you have a great time at the dinner Sam, and anyone else from icmag who attends. I bet there are some choice and expensive items of smoking gear on display at that dinner too. I'd have to buy a new pipe to take to an event like that, my old glass pipe has seen better days.

I've just won my own Legends cup with Sheberghan (Afghan, sieved, bubbles), Malana (Indian sativa, hand-rubbed, bubbles) and 'Pahari' (India sativa, hand-rubbed, doesn't bubble)... on most days I would tell you the Pahari has the best high... right now I am ****ing loving the Sheberghan though, delcicious Afghan goodness

Great idea Hazy, a few of us should get out heads together and organise our own dinner, make sure we invite ngakpa and ilife, then that's the hash taken care of! lol

I want to thank everyone that showed up at the Legends of Hashish Dinner. An special thanks to Perhaps who gave a bunch of his close up photography of resin & bubbling resin to the Legends folks. The dinner was a whole lot of serious fun, but to be honest we did not have a resin cup, it got discombobulated and it did not happen, as we only got one or two entries good enough to judge, and did not inform all enough in advance, but it will next year for sure. We made up for it with Afghan water pipes, Hubble Bubbles full of FMCD, it was fun for all.

Sounds like fun,

I "think my resin is the best in the world, and can stand upto the worlds best". Leave your earmuffs & beanies at home next year folks, your heads will be on fire :D

I'm sure Afghan hash from you would be killer Tom, considering you've often said you have far better Afghan lines than DC!

Glad you had a good time Sam. If only two entries were good enough to judge, how many entries were rejected?

Sam, can you perhaps explain what level of quality is considered worthy and some examples of things that have been entered before.
