4X8 Mars Hydro TSW-3000 5 gallon fabric pots

Day 42 (Day 7 of flower)

About 80 degrees this afternoon in the tent with 46% humidity when I checked. So I raised the dehum from 45 up to 50% for the rest of the day. That should help bring down the overall temp and the humidity should go up a little bit. Get me more into the 77 degrees with 50% humidity which is where I like to see it sit.

Day 44 (Day 9 of flower)

Budlets are starting to form. All the plants are doing good so far. I have decided to dial back slightly how much water I give them since the frequency of my waterings seem correct, but I am over watering them during those times. Goal is to not shows signs of over watering when first watered. Going to give each plant 500ml to start and see how they react. Day 23-25 of flower I will top dress again with worm castings and 4-8-4 from down to earth.

Day 45 (Day 10 of flower)

The plants showed signs of wilting like they have been right after the 500 ml watering today. It seems maybe my watering frequency is to spread apart since a few hours later the plants are back to health and pointing up towards the light. I am going to wait and check tomorrow and maybe in the morning I will water them again with another 500 ml and see if the same thing happens or maybe watering less more frequently than I was is the key.

Day 46 (Day 11 of flower)

About 75 and 49 % humidity when I checked on the tent this morning. Just doing their thing, it's nice to see all the plants filling in nicely with buds right now. Compared to my last run where I was having a lot of nutrient and heat issues which affected my totals big time. I am relieved to see I actually learned from my mistakes in the past, haha.

Day 49 (Day 14 of flower)

Seem to have gotten the drooping plants thing alleviated some what by watering smaller amounts more often. The plants look bigger every morning. The two smallest wedding cakes are enjoying the sunshine. They got a little toasty yesterday but still happy.

Day 50 (Day 15 of flower)

Watered the plants with 600 ml vs the 500ml again this morning and saw them droop shortly after. Looks like they could have waited until the afternoon maybe. Pots felt light to the touch. Budlets are really starting to form well on the Blueberry and Kama Kush.

Day 52 (Day 17 of flower)

Watered the entire bunch with just the pressure sprayer so it was nice slow. Plants seemed to appreciate that more than flooding the tops at watering time. Gonna continue that slow watering and see how it pans out. Otherwise the garden is starting to have a nose here and there nothing crazy but in another two weeks I am sure the smell will be far and wide.

I also started an Instagram account check out my grows @qdcannabis

Day 54 (Day 19 of flower)

Got punched in the face this morning with a nice smell from the garden. Nothing long lasting but still a nice surprise!

Day 57 (Day 22 of flower)

Steady as she goes. Top dressed two days ago because I was noticing calcium and magnesium deficiencies at the lower leaves that didn't see to much light. All the plants responded well the top feed and seem happy as can be.

Day 59 (Day 24 of flower)

It has been very hot today in New England with outside being 91 with 32% humidity. Tent was 78 with 53% most of the day. Over night temps outside aren't dropping fast enough or as cool as I would like but what can you do.

Day 60 (Day 25 of flower)

Hot as balls outside would be an understatement. 93 with 70+ % humidity today. Fucking kill me. Here I try to get my grow done right as summer starts and good old global warming was like hold my beer fuck your grow Cyrus. Tent was hovering around 80 with 50 % humidity.

I have a brand new 18K mini split getting installed on Wednesday and should really help dial in the overall temperature of the house. Bedrooms have brand new mini splits but the basement area doesn't. Hoping by cooling the entire living room above the space I am using it will help in bringing the basement temperatures down. The room the plants are in didn't feel that hot but I can't wait until we get to the other end of the week where our temperatures drop by 25 degrees outside. Wedding Cakes got transplanted into 5 gallon fabric pots today. I ended up helping a friend out who needed some plants so I am down to a lonely 2 inside and 2 outside.

Day 62 (Day 27 of flower)

Hot day again in New England with ungodly amounts of humidity. Temp highs were getting to 80 in the tent with 53% humidity. Good News I installed my new 18K mini split system. Bad news the previous mini split we had was hooked up for 120 volts not 230, so have to add a new quick disconnect box and new 20 amp 2 pole breaker on the breaker box side. Always something. Garden got watered today, seems to be chugging along.

Day 63 (Day 28 of flower)

Watered today as the pots were light and dry. Gonna be upping the amount slowly this week as to not shock anything. Smells danker every day.

Day 65 (Day 30 of flower)

Rounding the half way mark, around day 63 I will take a look and see how much further I wanna go but my plan as of right now is to cut it then based on trichome development across all the plants. This week the plants really didn't get the regular amount of light they were getting due to heat reasons. So I lowered the output since Monday down to the bare minimum the dial allowed to not allow the basement temperatures to get above 80. I am sure that cost me some final production weight but so it goes. Yesterday I cranked that hoe up to 75% it's output, maybe next week I will crank it to 100% for the remainder of the grow.

New mini split was wired in yesterday and in the course of 1 hour of running it brought an 800+ square feet divided by 3 rooms down 5 degrees. It blows my old one away. Pioneer is the brand I went with through amazon. This is our second system with them as we installed mini splits in the upstairs bedrooms when we got this place. Paid little under $1000 for this 18k btu unit itself and another $600 between an hvac guy and electrician vs the quote from a pro that was $6000+. With that extra money saved I will invest in some new lights for my second grow tent that is still in a box.

Day 67 (Day 32 of flower)

Just two shots from the garden today. I ended up adding about 200ml of water to the trays on top of the slow pressure sprayer watering. The plants didn't seem to wilt or react negatively towards it so I will take that as they appreciated that. Probably wont water at the bottom like that everyday most likely every other or every few days. If you are on instagram I did start an account dedicated to my grows, check it and follow me if you can!
