Your grow is pretty bad ass! I'm happy to have found it and will pull up a seat. I'm currently growing in coco and have gathered the material to setup soil and need somebody to watch to see how to do it. I appreciate all of you growers out there no matter what method or style you are using. It's fascinating to watch and I am eager to read your journal from the beginning. I like your whole setup.
Happy you found us! I'll be happy to answer any questions or just chat in general! Love the plant and how it unites us! Feel free to post pictures too!

I'm happy with how this room is coming together. Wish it was a bigger ceiling height but it is what it is. Someday I'll get a nice room built in the basement. View attachment 19132686
I'm not sure what got into me to buy a 2 section tent, 39"x39"x60" for the bottom section. It really limits height, with my last LED I had about 28" in total height. With my new Spider Farmer, I'm not sure yet.

I've had to work with a new soil blend this crop. I use to use Ocean Forest but it is no longer available here.
Had to go back to the basics and make up my own blend. That's where my grow journal came in handy.

Before my health declined I use to walk around the mountains close to home. On one walk around I found the skeleton of a mountain goat. I took the head witch still had the 2 black horns attached. I was never sure what to do with them.

I've been mixing my own soil for the last few years because my location has the same issues. It's either miracle grow or bust. Very few potting mixes out there come ready to plant imo anyways. If they are they are expensive and usually with a higher cost to ship it. Kis and build a soil probably the only 2 I'd trust to plant straight into. I'd love to check out your journal drop me a link sometime idk how to navigate the website very well yet.

I don't have a web journal just my personal journal. I don't do grow diaries, I usually just post the occasional photo, like yesterday I posted this photo over at the OFC thread.
When this plant was a sprout I dropped it on it's head and crimped the stem, then not long after I forgot to turn on the exhaust fan and the tent heated up and this poor plant was wilted to almost death, then I put it in a new soil mix that I messed up the PH by using the wrong water to PH test the soil, it suffered from that.
And now here we are back on track, it was the only seed I had left of this strain so I really wanted to try and save it.
Hope you don't mind me posting it. This soil blend is new to me. It's your basic generic peat and perlite but I've added 15% perlite, 10% EWC, and 30% Sea Soil which is 2 year old compost...plus the meals, rock dust, kelp, greensand and dolomite to keep the PH in order for the entire grow.

She seems to be very happy now! I don't mind pictures feel free to post anytime. I'm glad she bounced back for ya. I'm hoping this soil mix i just put together has everything it needs, I might be lacking a little biodiversity right now because my soil sat for a few months unfed and in the cold. Just started seeing predatory mites crawling around again.

I really like seeing how others grow as I have been doing it for so long I get set in my ways. I see others with wonderful harvests and know I can learn knew things.
Why i love this plant. It has a beautiful opportunity for us to all learn something from one another with all different backgrounds and types of people. It really was put here to heal us and unite us, but unfortunately corporations and greed has ruined the most of it. They poisoning people out here for profits and hiding the evidence under the rug.

I think back to the 60s when I first tried cannabis...people where all but giving it away, people wanted you to share in their joy of cannabis. Then profit from selling drugs took off... and today it will be taken over by wealth to create more wealth.
Like where I live, there was a huge surge in wineries, only to be bought up by larger wineries; then to be bought up by even bigger wineries. Until there is few owners. I always think from experience that's how the system works for most business ventures. Like all the food items in a grocery store basically owned by 5 companies.

As I have gotten into my 75th year, cannabis has become more of a medication to me. Here in BC there is a record number of seniors using cannabis.
Like you I appreciate how cannabis can bring people together to share ideas and even personal journeys through life.
What type of work is it you do?

I work for corporate cannabis and just like you said we were just boughtbout by a even bigger corporation. They fired 3 salary managers today that were there from day one. The Weed is super crappy and overfed with salts and dried so fast it loses all the trichomes in the trimmer. Then it's radiated for all the mold spores and crap on the weed that gets mixed in while trimming and sorting.

We live in a small community and there is no stores other than a second hand store that caters to tourists driving by in the summer. We travel to the city up the highway for grocery shopping and to have some fun. Along the drive we pass by a craft cannabis business. Not the best photo, the Mrs was driving while I took the photo. You never see much going on and occasionally they may have a few more cars in their parking area. It seemed to take them forever to get it up and running. I have no idea what they grow in there.
