4x4 grow tent help

Hi at all, this is my first thread in thc farmer and I really need your help.
No plants yet I just try my setup.
Tent 4x4
Light - 600w mh bulb with Lumatek ballast and Blockbuster 6 air cooled hood.
Ventilation –Td silent fan 500/150 ,580 mh3 around 340 cfm. Passive intake no carbon filter yet. Acoustic ducting -17 feet around 5 meters.
I will try to explain my setup.
Tent sit in my bedroom. Temp in my bedroom is around 68° F. Temp in grow tent with Td silent fan on and light off is around 59° F. Fan sit in grow tent and suck through 3 feet of ducting from blockbuster, another side of hood stay open I plan to attach carbon filter there.
Window of my bedroom stay open and I extract hot air out, with 14 feet of acoustic ducting and four 90° angles, 2 inside the tent from hood to fan, and 2 outside from tent port to window. Ballast standing outside the tent. When I put thermometer in the top of the tent temp is 63° F with light on, but under my hood is a real problem. I can touch glass of the hood without burn my hand I feel only slightly warm. But when I put thermometer 6 inch under hood temp is 93° F. I read that some people hold their air cooled hoods 6 to 8 inch from tops.
This temp I read without osculation fan blow under the hood. When I put osculation fan, temp is 80° F, 12 inch below the hood.
Is there something wrong with my setup, or I expect too much?
I'm worried that when I put the filter temp will rise.
I will post pics soon

That's too cold for lights off, I'm running 18/6 and my lights off temps are same as yours, I have a small blow heater on a timer, on for half hour and on for half hour, outside the intake during the six hours darkness, it does the job, goodluck.

Do you have good air circulation? Wall mount fans ? I put a squrrial Cage fan on the floor of my grow room to rotate ground air and top air.

Thanks for advise al70. My extractor have low and high speed and i hope to use it in dark period with low speed, also summer coming in my country and i think my dark period temp rise a little. But if i have problem i will use your decision with blow heater.
Hi noob 1988 I planned to not use oscillating fan but after read my temp i saw that will be needed. Yes with oscillating fan blow under the hood temp stay around 80° F, 12 inch below the reflector.

You'll also need to keep the humidity in check, ye can get a cheap all in one digital thermometer/hygrometer online, goodluck

Do you think that the extractor is enough for my setup? And is it well designed setup or must be converted. If i put fan outside the tent to avoid two 90° angles is it better? I plan to attach oversized filter also. Тomorrow will upload more photos with temp and the entire setup with duct outside the tent.
Regards

This is my setup, my extractor is on the roof of the tent, I think maybe you need a stronger extractor, mine cools both 600s at half speed

The white thing is your fan? This I what I would do. You say that you extract hot air out of the room with a fan. I would put the inline fan outside of the tent. I would put it at the end of the shortest length of ductwork possible to reach near the window.

Attach the filter directly to the inline fan. Then the air that get's pushed thru the filter that is warm will be clean and get sucked out the window. Then if your still using passive intakes, I would have at least 2, 6" holes at the bottom of the tent for fresh air to come in.

If you really wanna have the filter attached to the light, it will work that way. I was just giving you an option to have more room in the tent, and less stuff in the tent tha creates heat. 90 degree elbows are better than bends in the ductwork. But the least amount you have the better in terms of efficiency for the inline fan.

Hi al70 noise is issue for me because i live in appartment and i need to be stealth. My fan is inline mixed flow fan, not move a lots of air like centrufugal rvk and ruck but is quiet. Some people say it cool 1000 w hps air cooled with this fan. How is this possible?

Hi Double Og thanks for you option, will think about it but security is issue for me, and i cant just leave my duct out of a window because my neighbors will see duct and start to think. Actually duct goes through the door and out on the balcony. I will make photos.

For a trial run you could plant some tomatoes from plants from the store and see how they do and preform and tweak based on how they react. Then you can also see how stealth it is without worry of being busted by nosy neighbours.

If that fan won't cool the MH you might have to consider moving to CFLs, you can get 300 watt cfl bulbs and hoods, two of them would be pretty effective in your space, you could probably adapt the hood you already have to take a cfl so less expence, goodluck

Hi limeygreen thanks for suggestion.

Hi al70 fan is 580 mh3 around 340 cfm . Is not it sufficient to 600w? Im sure fan can cool 600 w mh just my setup Is not constructed properly. Тemp is 80° F, 12 inch below the hood
with osculation fan bloweing under the hood. I just want to keep tops 8 inch below the hood.
if possible without oscillating fan because it takes place in tent. In flowering i plan to use Hps. This will lower the temperatures? I think Hps run cooler tan MH

You will need an oscillator fan in there somewhere, hang it from one of the poles of necessary, 80 degrees is ok at 12 in. but you must keep the humidity down, the oscillator fan will do that, 8 in. is too close for a 600, goodluck

Today, with small oscillation fan blow under the hood and extractor in low speed 240 cfm, 12 inch under the reflector temp stay between 70F- 73F -75F in different place. I difinetely don't have heat problem. Thanks you all for the help
