I believe DP is a back crossed version of dj shorts.

A little more vigorous for sure, the look beautiful and very healthy.

Prof - didn't mean to cast aspersions on good old DP!!

CheifnBud2 - i did a load of research on DP blueberry and never found that out! was worried for a while about DP as after i bought them i found a load of negative press about them (as opposed to DJ's) but i am happy to report that i will have no problem buying them again, i have heard that BB is a bugger to grow properly but apart from the early male flowers it has all been plain sailing (hope i am not speaking too soon.)

just had my first spliff from the bud i took... still very green and not cured at all...

so far i report that

Taste... not going to say much as it is way too early to make any judgements. right now all i will say is that it is far from the worst i have tried.
Smell... See above.
Type of stoned... tingly surface of the head and a GREAT BIG SMILE.

just done a survey of the girls just to make sure they are ok.

found that one is not.

found a mass of Bud Rot on one (and only one thankfully) of my best looking plants. entire top foot to 18 inches ruined.

i think this is karma for taking a bud off for a quick taster.

took the decision to harvest 3 of the girls...

just finished trimming them.

it's late so i am gonna hang them up tomorrow.

i have two that just aren't mature yet so am leaving them for another week or so.

sorry for the long pause, been on my summer holidays, man it was good to get away.

now i am back so here are some pics of the haul.

i got around 16oz from my five plants... i know some out there are going to say thats not that much but they were only under 400w light so i am VERY happy indeed.

i dried them for between 4 and 7 days before jaring them up. and now i am going to burp them for about 10 minutes a day for as long as i need to!!

tough luck on the computer prof, if i ever lost mine i would go insane (well more so than i am now)

going to do a smoke report in a week or so when the buds have had a time to cure and the chlorophyll has properly broken down and the hay taste has dissipated .

but right now i can say that i am more than happy and out of the 3 strains i have grown so far it tastes WAY good, a hint of lavender (according to the wife) but i get mainly pineapple
