oh well FarmerJohn, i don't mind, lol. i think we'll be smoking some whether you enter it or not eh? still thinking about it, if my victory harvest truly turns into a victory smoke, then i might well enter it. just for the heck of it. we will see, so far there still hasn't been any official word posted about passes and entertainment, i know i'm all for a low key cup, so no need to make things pricey with expensive entertainment. but in the end it's GN and DG who are gonna decide about things and i am looking forward to hearing what they have planned for us.

I could probably care less if there was a competition at this point. From what I read of last year that would be totally fine with me. My goal is to see the Dam for the first time, smoke the best shit on the planet (cuz' you know it comes from ICMaggers) and hang with the coolest people.. (cuz' you know they are ICMaggers) and have the best possible experience one could have other than being jumped on by 3 hot ladies (which I'm not ruling out for the 4/20 week either)

Hi Everyone!
I've been lurking here and enjoying the wealth of information ever since OG went down. First off, thank you all for sharing your knowledge!

Second, i'd love to be part of the cup this year if i'm invited. I have been going to school in Utrecht (1/2 hour from AMS) this year so i'm in a perfect place to meet up with you all!

I also hope that it is a low key event, since on a students budget the cheaper the better. Mostly i am just hoping to smoke some amazing weed and chat with some cool people.

Well it seems i will be there as well...The plane tickets are just too cheap to let them pass..I will arrive on 420..and leave 423..That's enough for me (and my budget!)

From my experience on IC I would trust that 150 euro would go to good people/cause.

I won't be making it to this year's cup as I have plans I can't get out of. I truly wish that i could come and put a face to all the names on here...and perhaps more importantly and face to the kind bud on here! IC 420 CUP 08 is too far away to think about, but it will be an experience worth the wait.

After reading about all the experiences on here from everyone who has participated in past cups, I can't wait to experience meeting so many like minded growers in such a friendly and forward thinking environment! Man, I am sweating just thinking about it...sampling erb and speaking with the grower themself! And then letting all sample my medication! I hope all who attend this year have a great time. And look for Germ to make an apperance in 08.

I'm going to take a guess here... thought yes it would be great info to have... I do not think anyone is going to tell how to get weed from the states to enter in the event. It's just as helpful for LEO to read it and stop another means of getting it from point a to b.
However I bet if you were to be there in person and ask you might get a much better response. I just don't think people are going to spell out their shipment methods in open forum like this. Just my 20centavos

Just beware of using another smell to cover the weed (eg tumble dryer sheets) - at the first cup some entries from the US were tainted and could not be smoked because of this - Now that is a REAL crime

I've heard that turkey baster bags are good (bags turkeys are cooked in to hold in the smell, etc.), double-bagged.
(Brightside: the hotel rooms are being re-painted, with landsapes [ie. mountain] of various countries. Rooms 2 and 5 just finished. Cathy and hubby were putting together #5 couch when i called yesterday.)
