400watt HPS/MH System

I am thinking of buying a AgroStar Ultimate 400 Watt HPS & MH System with the 4ft by 4ft Sunsoaker Umbrella Reflector for my room..... Any suggestion about my idea.... Also one more question, how many plants do you think i could put under it if i buy it?

i dont no about the parabolis reflector but that 400watt lamps only good 4 a 3ft*3ft area at least that the way it is with my 400"s drelow51/50

Is the system a dual light or switchable setup? If it is the former, I think it would work ok for you and if the latter, Drelow has a valid point.

I'd highly recommend against a parabolic reflector. Those things throw light everywhere, and I haven't really seen it being that good in any environment. I guess they might be good for vertical grows or some tall sativa "tree" grows?

umbrella reflectors? those things are from like the 70's the number of plants depends on your setup and how you grow them........

so what is the best 400 Watt HPS & MH System and reflector to buy for my $350 im trying to spend? what would be my best bet? i have a room 7ft wide 10ft long and 8ft high...??? dont know what to buy???

400 watts isnt enuff for a 7'x10' room, not even a 100w light . maybe 2 100w lights or run the 400w and the extra space into a veg/mother area.
