So I started a plant off a bud clone, must of done something wrong because the bud didn't grow just started new shoots growing. I now have a plant. Lol. Anyway I wouldn't mind some knowledge on best thing to do next, its in vege mode still. I been thrashing it with light up to 20 hours a day. The vital thing I want to know is what to do next? as I only have a 4hundy watt. Can I still make this a good grow?

Yeah, I just finished my first run with a 400, although it was 3 plants in a 2'x4' space, but I ended up with around 8 oz. Depending on what you're going for you can either give it a nice long veg and train it outwards into a bush to increase the yield, or if you're looking for speed just let it go tree form and flip as soon as it's big enough for you.

Thanks for info. I think its big enough now,with about 20 odd tips on it. What would be the best light cycle for it now? And does it matter if I been clipping the bigger leaves?

Been "thrashing" it with 20 hours of light? Well, there's your problem. They need 12 hours or less of lights on in order to start flowering. And don't ever cut off healthy fan leaves. There is no benefit. The fan leaves are the plants solar panels. Cut them off at your own peril.

And how big is the space you've got to work with? What medium? Nutes? And of course a pic wouldn't go a stray. These would all help when enquiring about your plant on the forum.

You seem pretty new at this. Id do a lot of reading, and fast if I were you.

Thanks DU420. Lol patting myself on the back. I think I'll go with the 12/12 light cycle starting this week sometime. I want to give him some plant food,when would be the best stage to give it? Now? Or after light cycle change?

Would suggest an upload of the plant so that we can really dig deep for what's best for you and the plant. Just a thought.

Hang fire shifty! I wouldn't add plant food just yet. If you do just give them 1/2 the dose stated on the pack. Cannabis doesn't react well with some plant foods, however most it will tolerate.

As KoolDave says, i suggest you post pictures of the plant. And let us know exactly what nutrients you intend on giving the plant. I recommend a liquid plant food as opposed to a powder. Person preference as i have friends who reckon the powder is good.
