400w HPS DR80 Air Pot grow!

Newsflash!!! Thundurkel has bought a new bulb for his HID system! I got a PlantMax 400w HPS with added Blue and Violet spectrum supposed to be comparable to the Hortilux Super HPS so we'll see.. I know I can see the difference in color compared to the cheapo bulb I had in there at least I can see the bluish purple color when looking at the bulb from a angle not to hurt my eyes

thanks, I'm trying to figure out if I want to use Humbold Nutrients Ginormous 0-18-16 or Kool Bloom 0-10-10 with my Pure Blend Pro Bloom or should I just step it up on the Bloom and do the Lucas 15ml PBP Bloom and 5ml Cal Mag which I'll be using Calplex what's everybody think??

I use PBP and noticed that when i added the full 5 ml per gallon of calmag plus that the leaves fold together from to much mag. You can notice that in two of the plants in my room. Go light on it first. I assume ur using RO water?

yea I've gone with PBP from the beginning of this grow

I'd say 15ml of PBP and only 3ml of Cal/Mg and 5ml of Liquid Karma to the mix as well. I'd also, depending on where you are time wise in the grow, add a bit of molasses to the mix. Say maybe a 1tsp per gallon...see if they don't like that. The added cal/mg in the molasses will make up the difference of not using so much Cal/Mg...and the added sugar is nice for the micro herd at this stage in growth.

Hello all. My first post here on ICMAG.
Ordered some airpots a few days ago after reading this post. I have done everything from buckets, ebb and flow, soil,ect.. But now its on to the airpot! I am also going to be using coco for the first time. I was thinking of going canna all the way because it seems foolproof. May I ask you how often you water and do you use water+nutes every feeding? Not sure if coco reacts like soil where you add nutes once a week or like hydro where you have a constant nute mix. Any help would be great.

actually today was day 15 and lights just went out about a hour ago and things look great! The stretch has been good on the Thunder Goo and Blue Dream but the Bubba x Blue Moonshine seemed to stretch too much but we'll see how it goes I'll post pics tomorrow...

Just got my airpots! I am pumped! I will start a new thread with some pics of my setup. I am running canna coco with Agricultural Organics Bloom Line Nutrients (Coco grow/bloom A+B) and of course some Rhiz.

I was told by the guy I got the airpots from to water with 10% run off, then water once the pot has lost half its weight. I rather not weigh them after every watering. How do you know when to water? Can you tell me how often you water when in early veg through finish?

I can go 2 days if I have too but I like to water once a day and if I could I would water them 3 times a day cuz they are in coco and it would make the plants grow faster and fatter...
