It's looking like 5 females (already transplanted) 4 males, and one that has decided to not show any preflowers. I'm going to keep vegging til I see preflower and I'm positive there aren't any more females, and then they're all going to see 12/12!
My first run with the 400w and so far, I'm loving it!

Hey all, I want to join the club. I just recently started doing a version of Verdantgreens mod scrog using 4 15" x 12" screens and a 400 watt hps. I started using mod scrog because of verdantgreens great success with it using a 250 watt hps. If he could get 1.5 gpw then so could i. I have never gotten more then .75 gpw. I would be more then happy to double my yield.
My system is a perpetual scrog. I will add 2 screens every 35 days.

I have 5 feminsed NL seedlings, they are about 5 days old and I have had them under a 300w halogen (I know, I know not a good choice, but have only found that out after reading). Today I am changing to a 400w MH. I woke up this morning to find that one of them has fallen over, I have had a fan on them the whole time as the halogen light is HOT!! They look healthy enough but the stems are long and spindly (I'm guessing this is because they are stretching for the light, as it needs to be so far away). This is my first grow and I'm hoping you can give me some advice as to how far away from my little plants the 400w MH light should be? And how long I should have it on for and how many hours of complete darkness? I am not fertilizing at the moment and have supported them for now with a wire and have put more soil in the pot. Any and all advice would be welcomed.

sometimes i run both my 400's, but right now im only running one, so can i still join? i kinda like it around here and the results ive seen from the last couple pages have my eyes buggin outta my head!!!

Description says "Armoire, 42Wx33Dx72H $50"

Guy must have been as high posting that as I was buying it. Actual measurements are 33Wx20Dx58H
This is causing some major rethinking/reworking on my part.
I need to install a shelf on the top to hold some things, the 8" tall ballast obviously one of them....we now have 49 1/2 inches as the shelf will be 1/2 inch plywood.
Pots and soil are being replaced by SWC now. (This is just an old bubbler I had in the shed to get an idea of size with...6")
Were now down to 43 1/2 inches of actual grow space.
Wanted to SCROG, 3 WW clones at 12"....we now have 31 1/2 inches...
Ahh the light...knew I was forgetting something.
4" cooltube
1" new custom reflector
1" hooks in top shelf for hanging chain
=
25 1/2 inch of flowing area...give or take I guess....
Whats your thoughts folks?
Scrap the idea n' wait for a bigger box?
Do the grow with only 2 clones?
SCROG before 12" ?
