400 hps+ cfl Unknown indica dispensary seed freebees in my 1/8s

Can't remember the strains but all indica, even though out of the three separate strains, only one looks indica, the other two look more hybrids, I only buy indica and these came in 8ths just randomly I'd get a few seeds every once in a while and over a couple years I got a few

I have 4 plants under a 400w hps and an 85w 5500k cfl (about 5,700 lumens cfl)
So mixed spectrum grow

31.5in x 31.5in x 63in tent
80cm x 80cm x 160cm tent
2.625ft x 2.625ft, 5.25ft tent

4x 3 gal generic plastic pots

3 worthless fans and terrible looking diy poor grow lol but it's working sorta

I have severe pain from severe EDS an injuries so I'm hoping to get at least 6oz or more for until next grow and hoping these clones take root

The front two or the more indica dominant and the back right was taller, so I supercropped all the branches around first week flower

One bushy back left one looks like a ruderalis indica hybrid mix maybe, it's the smallest shortest one but grows amazing branches with little training
All have been LST a bit and using string homemade net for SCROG style grow

I'm desperate to get a decent harvest but it looks kind of weak, I'm not sure because it's my first grow

They vegged about 5.5 weeks and are now in about day 10 12/12


Anyone want to guess on what I'll pull out of this tent, I'll try to 12/12 for 9 to 11 weeks
I mean if everything goes halfway decent

I'm only using an old bag of happy frog with no ammendments made, no perlite, nothing
Heavy as hell
I'm using only FOX FARM Grow Big "organic" and I use only a 1/4 cap full in 3/4 gal of Poland springs water
I feed them every day to every other day, try to let them dry out and give them just enough for one days worth of work
I think it's going well considering I got random free parts for free and just started growing outa no where


What do ya think I have a chance to harvest, it looks bushy but honestly looks like the buds won't be huge
I have no idea what I can get, I look at many grows and seems people say 400s go for about 100gr to 300gr+

I have about 65 tops of different sizes, one I topped, one topped itself randomly growing two heads, and 2 others aren't topped, all LST looking bushes
Organic soil with only ff grow big

Added the cfl today day 10 flower, hopefully it won't heat stress, no thermometer in there yet but I'm planning on buying a 720 watt 4x4 tent kit, with everything needed, down the road sometime, if I can afford it would be intense

I think I over watered recently or too much heat today maybe, we'll see in time

Had to raise it to 15 inches because the cooltube fan is only 110cfm little thing, with the added 85 watt cfl
I'm 100% sure the front two are female and the back right too, the back left seems female because I'm still not 100% sure, but I see cylax without pistols ... it's a female 99% sure of that
So all female, I think

I was thinking about getting a "garage light" for only 18 bucks on Amazon, it's 150w led 3000k like 18,000 lumens
Or 2x 40w 3000k, 6000 lumens corn cob led bulbs for 37 bucks, they would definitely add a lot of light, good intense CRI 80+ type of diodes

Whether they are perfectly those specs or not, they're definitely bright lights
I'm more worried about heat, but I have tons of room to up the light height, if I'm adding 18,000 lumens of 80+ cri 3000k, that's like the equivalent of 22,500 HPS lumens on the calculators for uMoL/ms to lumens

I can afford to up the light height for all that added lumens or PPF uMoL/s
Especially having 3000k would be nice in there I bet, if the temperature stays down enough

But it's only a 6.9sq ft tent, the little 40 watt lights are probably best for next to the cooltube sides

It's at 8,115 lumens per Sq ft already, I think removing the 5500k cfl for 2x 40 watt l
3000k led corn cob e26 bulbs for each side of the cooltube, where it doesn't shine bright enough and to add multiple spectrum
Maybe 5000k led corn cob bulbs

Anyone use those before?
They seem like they'd shine bright and do a lot at about 10,000 added lumens of really good light

Looking to get maybe these
I believe our community is sleeping on these lights at 65 bucks for 300w 42,000LM LEDs 5000k flood lights
That's a dual spectrum opportunity for sure
Throw that next to my 400w cooltube inside a 3.3x3.3 or 4x4 tent

For this grow, I think I'll order corn shaped led e26 base bulbs, 28 bucks for a 2 pack of 50w 6200 lumen 5000k led corn bulbs
..put them under the sides of the cooltube where it doesn't get enough light and it'll supply dual spectrum to the tent, confuse the leafs into growing even bigger bud sites and filling out the whole time

I also think that on a really chunky Indica bud, there's no such thing as too much sugar leaf because real indica buds are always perfect for nerve pain

I'll be upset if I don't get the real Indica nugs outa these girls

I'm also thinking I over watered the indicas in the front and maybe need to feed them just water once, I don't know if anyone ever tried just feeding the nothing else besides a small amount of FF grow big throughout the entire grow, always the smallest "foliar treatment" amount of grow big, I've only fed them plain water once or twice so far

They should bounce back from this over watering within the day, hopefully

In the first Pic you can see them in about week 3 veg where they are being bent over and given the business
LST style, but of course

The reds are solid indica, looking like some hindu kush OG type of stuff, the blue is a hybrid with sativa overtones sorta, had to supercrop it to match the canopy
The purple circled one is what I would call an indica/ruderalis looking hybrid, it's tinyyyy from birth, the thing has tiny funny little jagged leaves, mind you all of this came from state dispensery "Indica" stains only, and only 1 is Indica so never trust what you smoking is actually what it says, until you've grown it out

All were bent over, the ruderalis looking shorty was trained almost none, because it was so short and the branches just busted out from the main stem like crazy, all the light went down the middle, because it's leaves are so tiny, sun goes right down the middle and all in between the leaves


Now day 11 & 12 flower pics

End of day 11 the indicas in the front have all been over nuted with FF grow big, I gave them all a nice rinse in Poland Springs (all they get since day 1) at the end of the day,
They were nearly falling over, except the ruderalis looking one, that thing doesn't get bothered by anything at all, grows insanely strong but short

And now here they are day 12 all perked up and enjoying the days sunlight

God is good

I'll give them water only for a couple days, then hit ff grow big, only a tiny amount in the cap, thrown in the Poland springs 3/4 gal bottle, shaken up and spread evenly across the soil

I poke holes in the top of the bottle and shower the soil, trying to not hit leaves

I'll nute the water with that once every 3 days now
They obviously don't want veg nutes anymore, I need to be careful with the ff grow big, it's very obvious with the indicas in the front (they drooped bad and got a little colored leaf stems) but the ruderalis looking shorty loves it still, it's 3 days younger too

the hybrid in the back right corner that I had to supercrop, it dried out and drooped by the end of the day, then they all got Poland springs

Today I wake up and they're looking happy and loving me
Love my girls lol
It's really fun to grow

Theres one clone that's definitely growing, it's a tiny little thing

This tent and setup is from 13 years ago when I did a half a grow for like 90 days

It's a cheapo ebay purple "Apollo" 400 hps/mh ballast, and tent
With light leaks and all that good stuff
I just pulled it out of a box it's been in for yearssss unused, now the hps is fired up and going strong with the original bulb, it says 56,000 lumens but I just assume that it's 50,000 lumens at 2100k,+ 85w cfl 5700 lumens 5500k

Soon I'll have 2x 40 or 50 watt corn style e26 base LEDs roughly 5000 lumens each

In a 2.6ft x 2.6ft x 5.25ft tall tent

The 3 cheap fans...

2 duct fans, 1x 6in 240cfm (out the top of the tent) 1x 4in 80cmf intake/circulation fan
And 1x 4in 110cfm fan in the cooltube

2x 4in intakes, 1 passive / 1 active intake


I don't play around with strains, I need a real kush bud with hairy trichs everywhere , you know the buds I'm talking about , the good ones only

The herb that I need, has a distinctive smell and appearance, we all know what classic kush buds are like with the long chunky trichomes, you can't miss the distinctive indica bud

Anything else is going to really be upsetting big time, pain isn't a fun game to play with, especially when you need to be a man!
Other herb helps more, but this is a wonder herb too, I'm very grateful to be able to do it legally, don't need to worry about smell so much

No carbon filter so far, but I will use one soon as I get a new tent or buy that first, I'm pretty much broke right now

Day 12 flower

Completely perked up and in love with straight Poland Springs, will be giving a tiny dose of ff grow big every 3rd day still, but that's all
FF happy frog is heavy and stinks compared to OF, I'm sure but they still look wonderful

I have a growing clone of the big indica on the front left so that's my mother for sure, next crop will be uniform kushy indica bushes

Can't wait to see them really bud up

The red is the only real Indica dom kushy looking plants
The blue looks hybrid 60/40 (supercroped and topped)
The purple looks ruderalis hybrid, with very stout sturdy branching

It's day 13 12/12 so I imagine these are mainly running 70 days+ maybe the indicas in the front will harvest in day 70s 12/12, and the other two 80+
Hopefully they stay healthy enough that long, with a little help from a friend you guys

The little ruderalis hybrid looking thing in the back left corner, that adds another 15 main tops

Total tops is at about 60-65 decent sized tops with a few little ones down there but I have all the larf popcorn already removed, I think.. They should just be chunchy tops but the lack of veg time and poor soil being only happy frog without any treatment, not even any extra perlite added

There were all vegged for 37 to 40 days since the day they popped out of the soil

Next grow will be a uniform clone of the indica only and I'll veg bigger, that should get a much better yield with more training and much better soil with dry nutes added so I feed spring water only, and add some flower nutes, all organic soil grows, I don't want any of the chemical stuff

Doin well but I see that they're pretty tiny, didn't get much bigger in first 14 days of 12/12

I'm just assuming that I'll get under 6oz and probably under 5oz

I want to estimate at 140 to 180 grams total at the end ofbday 70 to 85

They're only about 12 to 15 inch plants

Not sure if it fits your grow space but I would use the ESL as vertical light, had great results with it. Almost no heat and you can get pretty close to the plant.

Everything looks good but I highly recommend getting some bloom nutrients. The grow big will disappoint in the final product. You can find Epsoma Tomato toTone at any hardware or garden store. It's cheap and it will make a world of difference in yield and quality.

I bet that tomato fert is good if you transplant it into soil with some of that in it, when the clones are ready maybe I'll try some of that

Next crop will be all the front left indica, that's like some kind of bubba kush hybrid spin off, mostly indica dom for sure
That plant shoots out 2 leaves on one side instead of 1
Like it just starts shooting out multiple leaves where there should only be 1 on each side, it goes 2 on one side, so 3 branches each node sometimes
It also topped itself and has 2 main heads because of that, I didn't do that to her

I have a tiny quarter sized clone of her that will be a mother, and 2 other clones of her, that will be the next grow

It looks like I'll probably get 120 to 140 grams off this grow
I'm just thinking they are smaller buds mostly, she's not throwing serious bud out
Didn't veg long enough and the soil is garbage, the nutes are also old garbage
