well it looks like ill have to do my origional expensive plan to solve my problems safely. buy a 30amp timer box -----------> http://www.ecogrow.com/index.cfm/product/1481/special/new/home.html , that will go in the growroom, and ill have to buy 50-100ft of 10-2 wire (since the timer box is a three prong and not a four) to run that wire up into the attic and down to the washer/dryer room. I found the timer box for $250, but i know that 10-2 wire is goin to be 2bucks a foot atleast, heh. If anyone knows where to get cheap 10-2, 8-2 wire around 100ft, pls let me know.

Peace

woohoo, finnaly got my problem solved. I had me a custom built (by a wonderfull man in the Oregon Medical Community) 50 amp subpanel. (will be only loading 30amps for now) Easy to set mechanical timer controls 4 pole contactor. 6 switched 240V outlets, 2 switched 120V outlets, 2 unswitched 120V outlets. Actually, twice the capacity, # of circuits and number of outlets as the Sunlight Supply 30amp subpanel. Same brand breakers. 8 Ga wire (30ft) good for 50 Amps / 240V / 10,000 watts. Plus its got a 30amp 4 wire plug, that is convertable to a 50amp 4wire, if i upgrade someday :joint: and i paid about the same price, so im doing great!

Thanks to all who responded,

Peace and Grease
