I have 4
Golden Tiger 2nd version (rotten smelling pheno) x Panama Goddess (F10)
going.

This is the strain info received from Dubi

"A very strong and high yielding GT mother, rich in rotten terpenes, pollinated by our best Panama parental plant.
Very high yields, flowering time: 11-13 weeks"

It can be found on the R+D page.

Coco, LED lights, flooded trays, 15 l netpots, FloraNova feed.

They got 40 days in veg, here's some baby steps

12 days into flower, 11/13 light cycle, still no signs of budding, but all are stretching nicely, very vigorous

Last pic is a best possible groupsshot, for now, but that'll soon change.

It's a bit crowded, but the 4 plants will get a 120x120 cm tray all to themselves in a 150x150 space with about 800 W of mixed light, COB's and a QB with some extra red.

Aye, I got plenty height to play with, in case anyone wondered!
Took 4 cuttings from each plant when cleaning up the lowers, in case there's something interesting.

Took another 6 large ones, about 30 cm or so, they're are hibernating at 4 C for the next 2 months or longer, will be interesting to see how they fare.
Any comments, critique, suggestions and such is very cool!

Nice garden :)

Good idea about running 11/13. I was going to suggest that, then I read you're doing it already :)

Very nice method, they look happy! Very interested to hear how these turn out;)
Thank you for saying so, but I'm at me wits end..... I've been down the air-auto-fabric-smart-DIY- bubble-you name it-pot holed roads, I've roamed the food courts and slunk down poorly lit alleys, and this is the dumbest, laziest, cheapest and simplest way to grow I've been able to come up with, and now I'm sorta stumbed!

Any ideas how this can be dumbed down even further, I have that nagging suspicion there's room for further dumbness 🤔

The dumbest I can get is a 13 gal res with blumats;) Make soup once a week, set light timer and fans and voila:biggrin: Don't even have to open the tent until harvest - which would never happen.

Haha, yeah that sounds dumb enough, hmmm hard to see how you improve from there in the noble KISS quest lol. Sounds perfectly stupid to me for a few plants :)

I did muck about with a few blumats some years ago, but those snaking lines and hoses were too clever, kept tripping me up :dunno:
Gave up on using airdomes for the same silly reason

Welcome Tony21 :)

Thank you very much for supporting our work.
Your interest in exploring our latest hybrids from our R+D is much appreciated.

Both Malawi x Panama and Panama x Malawi hybrids have produced great results to many growers around the world, so i expect the same for the new Golden Tiger x Panama hybrids, which have the same Panama Goddess parental plant (reversed) as pollen donor, but in this case pollinating our Golden Tiger 2nd version mother #3 - rotten smelling pheno, which is a very high yielding, very resinous, powerful GT mother of moderate flowering time, with a distinctive and different rotten/organic aroma that neither i link to Malawi or Thai (parents of GT), and it's closer to our Vietnam Black mother regarding terpenes.

Maybe you saw the great results that our friend repuk had with this hybrid, which are overwhelming :D

Tony, your plants look very healthy, vigorous and neat, enjoying the environment of your setup, with great structure and size to face a great flowering stage
Best wishes!

Hey Dubi, thank you for the kind words, but it's mainly your own fault it looks like this, I think, I'm just lugging food and drink to the genetics lol, and there is no need thanking me for drooling over your R+D list hahaha, only way to make me stop is removing it!

Yep, I've seen the grow you linked to, nice work there.

Question, I'm running these Tigers 11/13 for now, do you think it would be beneficial to go to 10,5/13,5 or even 10/14 towards the end of flowering?

If so, how would that five Killer A5 and two Killer Malawi that will be in the tent by then!

I can increase the light intensity for those, but suspect only the A5's with their indica ballast could be short of optimal daily light dose, or DLI. I have an Apogee PAR meter, so that could be roughly dialled in. Any thoughts?

Here's the 4 tigers, day 26 in flower. Pretty much every stem has been super- and/or soft-cropped, some 3-4 times and ongoing along with defol and whatever else fit for purpose. Running FloraNova Bloom at recommended bottle strength plus some additional PK, Mg and silicone in the form of Diatomaceous earth, plus there's some neem cake in the coco for good measure, who know... Maybe it does some good, other than for my own peace of mind lol

Here's a sorta overview, the 2 larger plants top right is AK420 clones that's getting close to harvest, and how the tigers hopefully will look eventually with the same shaping, so far they're co-operating nicely

Sure, it's a mix of CREE 3590 drawing 55 or 65 W actual depending how old the design model are, and Citizen 1825 drawing 145 W actual. Both are 3500 K, 80 CRI.

It's roughly 400 W/m², plus minus 50 W or so depending how the lights are mixed.
Indica heavy strains get more than sativas. Lights are running 11/13.

Very cool you are able to run at 145w per with the citi.

Im curious about the last pic above. Im assuming those are the crees. Im wondering if those cobs at that period in flower running that close to tops are dimmed or are they running at 55-65w?

Yep, those are the CREEs running 55 and 65 w respectively as the case may be, I don't pay attention to the actual draw of a particular light, they're the same for practical purposes. Trouble with these lights is once they're assembled, there's no longer any access to the dimmer screw on the underside of the driver, and yeah, the sinks on the 145 w citi lights get hot!

I always keep the distance to about 15 cm from the tops/canopy, raising when about <10 cm or leaves goes abrowning. You'll notice I don't use reflectors, and that would obviously change the equation.

Buds tolerate, or love, or accept, take your pick, a lot mor PAR than foliage, and any fan leaves larger than 8-10 cm in the line of sight from the light and into the plants is removed .

Here a pic of the other side of the tent with the lights better visible, they are almost always angled in from the sides, with the 145 w citi in the corners and usually at least one in the center, but it depends

It's Killer A5 haze to the left, AK420 to the right and some smallish haze clones in the front. The citi lights is the ones with the driver having a larger diameter than the sink.
