The cab is complete, my piece of glass came in to air cool my hood, and I probably won't need the scrubber until their atleast a few weeks into veg. going 6 clones all foxfarm maybe a few additives that i'm still debating about, I might scrog with PVC and wire, but that is something i'll contemplate.

I'm considering putting a door frame in and sheeting the door rather than usin the plastic. My past experience has been poor with the plastic and zipper, because the opening isn't sufficient to get in the grow space and do the things we need to do.

Caulked and sealed, great air circulation and chilly temps should yield me well. If needed i'll probably finish with something bigger than 5 gallon buckets of ocean fox farm organic. I love roots.

I'll prob just drape plastic as temp door and not set it , so the set up is ready for the clones as of now. Dirt is in, and I have starter 5liter containers

Great little grow room can't wait to see some plants in there. Have you run it with the 1000w on to see what the temps are like in there? If i'm correct you said your 1000w is in a sealed air cooled hood? With the AC you should look into CO2 or maybe routing some or all of the AC across you 1000w then out of the room. That bulb will be a beast to cool.

do you have any concerns about the positioning of the ac? the way it is set up, the ac will eventually be blowing directly onto your girls. either way i wish you the best and cant wait to see it in action.

I picked up an exhaust fan speed gage for 30 bucks, which is very helpful for keeping the room cool. Currently have a 400 watt MH on the clones, and a 80 watt fluro, but will be addind a 1k switchable air cooled in the near future.

Put the clones in fox farm ocean blend, haven't decided on nutrient line yet.\

just put the clones in 2 days ago. Transplanted them from beer cups to a bit bigger, and threw them in fox farm ocean blend.

During the transplant I lost one of them ( the HK unfortunately I think)

Anyways the ones in seem to be loving the 68 degree weather in the garage . Pays to seal you're room up especially in the summertime)

They are under a 400 watt MH atm , but in the next week or so i'd like to find a digital 1000 watt MH/HPS with an air cooled 6 inch opening for around 300 bucks.

Hydro store wanted 700 .. hahahhaha. They must think money grows on trees or something.



The freaking fan i have is huge, and its on its lowest setting , i guess that'll make for a nice strong stem base , eh?



Ideally, in the next week or so i'd like to have a total of 12 clones in the room under digital i'm looking to purchase.

we shall see.. more updates too come. and a veg room to come soon ( where i'll throw the 400 at)

Just picked up a 1000 watter so i will pay close attention, good luck and as long as the leaves aren't ripping from the wind your plants should enjoy the breeze even more when they grow up

I'm on about day 45 of veg from clone now. They are in 5 gallon pix as u can see. Im concerned they will grow rootbound if i dont flower within the next few days. so thats the plan. under the 1k hps soon.. here are some pics.
