Specs

Medical grow (6 flowering 12 veg)
400 watt MH too veg, followed by 1000 watt hps to flower
Working on veg cabinet atm, where the 400 will end up eventually in its seperate chamber
450 CFM 6" Exaust fan
DIY 24 inch long 6" carbon scrubber (homedepot for the win)
Air cooled hood on both the MH and HPS
some 80 watt fluros on the side
Window AC unit with manual remote 6500 BTU
Sealed 6x4 room caulked and painted flat tint base white
Door will consist of black / whiute plastic with 2 zipper inserts
Have yet to put the door on because i'm still working in the space

This is what i worked with so alot of the wood was recycled..

Their were shelves already built in the garage, but I wante dto add another 16 inches of depth, so i framed some walls and caulked sealed . luckily the shelves were put together with screws, so the take down and conversion to more space was easy

I found a glass shop to custom make a piece that fits my 400 as seen in the pic below

They'll temper the glass and smooth the edges for around 21 dollars. can't beat that to make an air cooled hood from a cheap craigslist purchase

like your setup man, i recognize alot of stuff off the diy forum, that is awesome, i'm a big fan of it myself.

I was planning on picking up 6 GDP clones from sacramento club around town.

Maybe find a sensei star mother from seed at some point and cut some clonse after the GDP flowers out

yeah gdp has never let me down in the past, but if you do get some good sensi star phenos and have any experience in breeding they are great mothers. i did a sensi star (mother) x chemD (father) and it turned out spectacular.

cute ass dog by the way

I think you'll get more of a response as your room develops, a few people on here are probably too high to appreciate an empty room :p

Free- Yeah i was thinking about doin that. i'm on a really tight budget tho .. in time

2stoge - i'm thinking it will take atleast 5lbs of granulated active carbon to fill it, I'm terrible at geometry so i'm not exactly sure. Should cost me about 1.99 / pound if i order online. thats about 20 bucks with shipping

overall cost of the carbon scrubber totals me at around 60-70 bucks.

I really wish I still had some of berks genetics

I had a fucking killer looking female with HUGE leaves,

It was a sour bubble x berkely 1 , and i've never seen a plant with as wide of finger leaves as she had. Unfortunately i had to move, and i lost a great mother

well i'm prob gonna have to hold off until saturday to get clones. works a bitch isn't it?

Need to get down to the glass store to pick up my custome 22x22x1/4 tempered glass to make my MH air cooled.

Other than that i've been collecting a shit load of egg cartons to try to quiet my exhaust fan down. was gona cut some holes in a moving box and layer it with egg cartons, heard it works /shrug worth a shot.

I'm considering putting plywood/hinges instead of plastic for the room, plastic would make a good framing job seem a little wimpy imo.

Just need to find a way to put a door on and get it to remain light / seal proof. could weather strip it and run 2 sheets to a stud in the middle i guess.


that doesnt really have to happen now, i'm ready for the clones !! just need to get down to the club on saturday when im not working and i'll be set to go


Foxfarm organic ocean all the way maybe add some natural additives but i like their mix
