you, or anyone you know, trim root balls?
IE: start them out in a small pot, and, basically, root bind them. Tight.
Then, when adding medium, remove the plant, trim away some of the root mass, THEN transplant?

Ive heard people use this method when keeping mothers a long time to manage size....
wonder if it works for this application as well.

Thank you Corky. I'm gonna look for some 5x5s right now.
Round pots make the best use of the given nutrients, IMO ─ I transplant seedlings from the germ. tray into 7'' pots and bend them horizontally as they stretch during flowering.

And I always use rainwater or distilled to prevent a (toxic) build-up of salts?
