3x3 plant space

Hi, I've got 8 plants in a 3x3 right now. They are nearly 3 ft tall in the early flowering stage. one of my goals for this grow is to improve my yield, so I topped them at the 5th node and put as many plants as i could into that space, which worked out to be 8. The lower half of the plants are not getting enough light, but the upper half look ok. So does anyone know what will happen to the plants? Should I take some out and just do 5. I've got an attached picture.

Sc1,

Your plants look great.

You should be fine either way. If a plant ever gets too big or too bushy, it can usually always be pruned and thinned into working for what you need.

After you're done with the round you can decide if the extra veg time was worth it or not. Bigger plants do create bigger colas!

Might want to get that trellis going sooner than later :)

Keep up the good work.

Hi so the plants there were vegd to about 6 weeks. I have just been reading about the sea of green method recently but I have not yet been able to make so many plants. So I guess that's why my plants are a bit large. That trellis idea sounds cool.

The trellis is a must when they start putting on weight. It's a lot easier to trellis earlier than later. Multiple levels of trellis will allow you to even your canopy by weaving the tops in different directions.

Good luck!
