I was thinking some sort of mixer. If you're at a 50/50 tipping point, look at the background and notice the stage that the room is at. Notice the amount of soil they used.
Could you please elaborate on your generator set up? I am very interested in purchasing a diesel generator for a 20 k+ grow and need all the info I can get. I am looking to spend up to $20,000.00 on one so I hope I can get a good one for that price. I have seen one called a whisper generator and it seems interesting. I have seen them running at Tim Horton's when they were renovating and was amazed at how quiet it was. Mind you it was probably was running very low, but in comparison to some I have seen it was amazingly quite. I plan to house the generator in its own sound proof shelter, so really any good unit would do. Thanks in advance and I must say that is an amazing grow!
Oh ya, one other thing, what was the reason for going with the genetics you chose?
How do you plan on fueling? Fill up a big truck and siphon, or via tanks? I'm assuming you won't have farm fuel or similar delivered?
I know very little about generators (and zero experience with them) but from what previous research I've done, you want a Diesel unit that has a low operating RPM. They even make "quiet" models, like the Onan Quiet Diesel's (or similar name).
Hope hunter finds enough time to be able to elaborate..
The diesel generator is the only way to go from what I have read also. I was wondering if they make hardy generators that run on natural gas. If so I would get one of these as the place we have set for the grow has its own natural gas well. The owner has been heating his house with it for twenty years and the pressure is very high. I am sure a 20 k generator could run with this resource for years to come.
