First, find a place u want to work.

Second dress nice and go in in person and turn in the application complete. Do not give your app to wat ever person is willing to take it. You have to find out the name of the person in charge of hiring and get there phone number and times there expected to be at work.

Third, hunt the person in charge of hiring and give them your app in person and tell them u want the job and there is no better person. Dont say i need this job. sayng u want this job instead shows that ur there by choice not becuase u have to be. which in my opinion is better to show the want instead the need.

Fifth, call this person at least 1 time a week and at least 1 other time in the same week hunt them down in person for an update on ur app.

repeat week after week to the same places of business. if you do this to multiple places you want to work someone will hire u.

Are you in the USA or China? Because your original post seems to indicate you're in the USA. But then you say you're in China. I know for a fact that $8.75/hr in China is a very good wage. You'd be rich, since the average working man's wage there is $30/month.

Plus, if you're a US citizen and you married a non-US citizen, I'm pretty sure that they automatically become eligible for a green card. I'm not from the USA so any American can correct me if I'm wrong.

Thirdly, if you're in the USA then why can't you sign up for Obamacare?

You are looking for a business degree type job and they seem to be scarce. So like stoned trout says look into something that has demand. I am not sure if a business leaning person would have an aptitude to be a mechanic…. so maybe more in the area of healthcare. There are always jobs in healthcare, may need a few more classes.

Or for short term waiters get good tips.

they just returned from china recently.

I even dress up in a suit and tie for these entry level positions asking for only a high school diploma.

^ applying for jobs and not looking the part is a big no no. if the jobs are not white collar don't dress white collar. employers are very leary of over qualified ppl applying for manual labor jobs. they are perceived to have a "look what job I gotta take" attitude. they are famous for not lasting long. job training is expensive. they are looking for keepers. secondly, the #1 preferred applicant for manual labor jobs is manuel! :) not being racist here imo. cold fact.

the usa is actually in an economic depression. inflation is way under reported in the statistics. what they call gdp is actually inflation being called economic output. much of the reported economic output (gdp) itself is just paper lies. half the country is on some type of electronic dole program, literally. no shit.

I consider cannabis to be the best overall employment opportunity overall but it is getting much more difficult to make a living as a canna entramanure ( word play intended).

if you can't score a well paying salary job ( looks like you can't) then you gots to learn how to put several part time incomes together and get your wife's paperwork as usa citizen finalized. self employment cashing in on your specific skill sets pays the best.

I think your best employment opportunity is to get your wife US citizenship and then you can both go on welfare, get more money than a single person on your own.

Then get her pregnant and apply for public housing so you don't pay much rent.
(With a baby you will get fast-tracked.)

Then work cash in hand jobs so the welfare don't know.

Go to your local church, preferably a denomination that likes proselytizing people.
Act like unbelievers, and they will shower you with money or the like to get you to find jesus. Slowly act like you are being converted, but not too fast, have to draw it out so you get more assistance from them.

Other than that, join the military.
Don't think of doing anything silly like joining the marines; you don't want to be a hero, you want the cash. Become a clerk or something like that in army, or preferably the navy, as they don't have room onboard the ships for clerks, so you wont have to go to sea, you will be able to stay home.

Hey folks,

Lately I've been having no luck finding a job. My job search has been going on 6+ months now. I've literally applied for 106 jobs now; each job application has resulted in either no response or a flat out denial. Even a recommendation from a good friend who is a district manager ended up in a denial within 24 hours. I was hoping to get a little bit of advice from you all.

Please understand that I'm NOT above working any kind of job. I don't deserve $100,000/year or anything ridiculous . I know it's nothing special but I have a bachelors in business and somehow I was able to graduate with a decent GPA. I've got several years of human resource/management experience. I need enough for the bare minimum (rent, bills, food, etc); I don't need a penny more.

About 4 weeks ago or so we found out that my wife is pregnant. Right now she's just at 6 weeks or so. Because I have a kid on the way, I can't really support my family on $8.75/hour. I've thought about going to a temp agency and just taking whatever they offer me, but I really need to find something with insurance and time is a factor. I cannot afford all the hospital fees associated with the childbirth out of pocket; plus I would like to have insurance for my newborn. I mentioned above that I had applied for 106 jobs; the majority of these were entry level positions asking for a HS diploma or equivalent, the rest were entry level positions asking for a bachelors degree.

It gets a little trickier guys... my wife is not a US national. She doesn't need to change her citizenship in order to work, but we need to get her a green card and so far we've been met with a lot of red tape. We are continuing to work on getting her green card, but the process may take over a year. I met my wife while she was working on her masters degree as a foreign student here in the U.S. Because of this issue my wife isn't legally allowed to work until we get this resolved; plus... she's pregnant.

So yeah... I'd love some advice if any of you guys have it. Again, I'm not above working any kind of job but I need to be able to afford the bare minimum to survive + insurance. I'm considering moving to my wife's home country (I lived there for a few years), but it would be a harder life for all of us. Also growing would be a death sentence; literally.

Sorry to complain,
Kas

My son taught himself to code. That skill can be learned online and cheaply. It sure ain't easy though. The only way to learn to code is to write shit tons of it. He now works in cyber security dept of fortune 50 company. They started him at 90,000. He is a highly motivated young man.

Don't take this advice please. First of all, here in Canada you usually get a maximum 700 bucks a month when first on welfare. Wouldn't be surprised at all if that number is less in the states. Even if your wife gets it too, it won't be even close to enough to live off and It severely limits your options in everything such as where you can live. Plus it is just totally fucking embarrassing to be on welfare unless absolutey needed. I can't stand seeing mother fuckers collect welfare but they make over a grand a week in a cash job or selling dope on top

I thought that was sarcasm. Kinda hard to convey that online though. But I guess some people really do think like that. That's why I put smiley faces after some of my shit, to show I'm not being serious.

Become a professional bank robber. "That's where the money is". Just do it unarmed, and don't say you are either.
