As far as best I can only pick from what I've grown/smoked. Keep in mind that pics are pretty but don't tell us much without smoking some. This APSS is prob the best OG I've grown in the last 30 years. I have grown the most popular clones availble. This was a random clone I got because it had Skunk in the name lol. I will grow anything that's is supposedly Skunk .. This cut turned out to be 200% next level OG kush.. This is my 1st run of her. She puts me down..

Wow, looks like a good medical indica structure there! I bet it has resin to match! Any fruit in there or is it all pine type terpines?

I was thinking the other day, so many OG's in the collection
Not sure I can keep them all going
Give me your top :bump: list... did I miss anything ?

So if you could only grow one OG which one would it be ?
Maybe some of these should not have made the list?
I would say if you could only do one it would be the Triangle.

Keep your top 3… if clean, spread the love. Nostalgia has a funny way of making you believe the bird in hand is not as good as the one that got away. It’s nice to know that bird is not lost forever.

I like the Louis XIII of the cuts I’ve ran… It also happens to have most spaghetti like branches of everything I’ve ran. Go figure.

Some of the LA Pure Kush

Sorry dumb question- is LA Pure Kush similar to OG Kush? I had thought they were different - like maybe the LAPK was along the Hindu Kush or Master Kush lines

Just wondering

The Triangle Kush story begins in South Florida,
where a young grower origins_tk_og (aka the Governor) accidentally crossed an
Emerald Triangle female with pollen from a Hindu Kush plant.

According to the grower, the Hindu Kush seeds that eventually pollinated the Emerald Triangle plants came from Nevil Schoenmakers Seed Bank in Amsterdam. Origins_tk_og smuggled these seeds back to the US in 1989, and two years later he germinated those seeds and introduced the plants into his 12-light room once they were confirmed to be female plants. One of those Hindu kush plants hermaphrodited and pollinated the room of Emerald Triangle plants.

The resulting seeds went on to play a significant role in shaping the landscape of cannabis genetics in the United States. One of the seeds eventually became Triangle Kush while another became the OG Kush.

Swamp Boys Seeds was established when Floridians Cornbread Ricky and Krome partnered to collaborate based on a shared knowledge of two now-legendary strains of cannabis: The White and Triangle Kush.

I can tell you being old enough to remember about the emerald triangle kush that strain goes way back
Surfers usually can find some damn good weed
The region includes three counties in an upside-down triangular configuration:

legend OG
Appearance
Legend OG buds feature a tapered pinecone shape. The leaves are a mix of mossy green and yellow colors, with curly orange trichomes massaging their way through the buds. The flower formation represents the absolute best in indica genetics. Her leaves spiral inwards to create a very dense indica structure.

Leged OG Strain Aroma
Legend OG possesses the beloved kush smell. A twist of fuel and lavender combines with an earthy and pine-like experience. Properly cured buds have an addictive fruity citrus flavor with a sweet and smooth exhale. A second whiff may pick up on some light herbal accents. Grinding up the dried buds produces the dank, earthy scent we experience from high-quality Kush family strains. Smoking Legend OG in a pipe or joint creates a smooth, savory smoke with tangy and sweet flavors on the exhale.

Terpenes
Legend OG has a tip-top terpene profile with a host of therapeutic benefits. Myrcene combines with caryophyllene, limonene, and linalool to deliver a pungent evergreen and lavender-based scent. Low temperature vaping is the best way to enjoy her tremendous flavor.

Cannabinoids
Legend OG blesses us with a 24% THC content that may prove to be a natural replacement for some synthetic drugs. The thoroughly relaxing body high provides direct pain-reducing effects. Legend OG has a CBD level of 0.5%. CBD can be helpful to people experiencing chronic pain, sleeplessness, seizures, appetite loss, and migraines. Too much intake of this strain may cause itchy eyes, dry mouth, dizziness, and headaches.

Effects
Legend OG strain is a definite creeper. The first stage of the high is pleasantly mild and cerebral. Gradually, smokers begin to feel a warm headed flushing sensation on the cheeks and forehead. As these initial sensations fade, users undergo a trance-like mindset marked by patterns of random thoughts. LOG tends to amplify procrastination and keep you daydreaming. After roughly an hour, Legend OG strain begins to produce a radiating relaxation that can be felt through the core and extremities. Deep breathing and a couch-lock state soon follow. The calming effects of Legend OG are best suited for evening or nighttime use.

Growing Legend OG Seeds
Legend OG flowers in 8-10 weeks indoors. Under ideal conditions, she can yield 13-18 oz/m2. The SOG gardening method helps to achieve optimal results while growing Legend OG Seeds. Using an organic growing medium and fertilizer will ensure the tastiest end product imaginable. Outdoors, Legend thrives in a dry, sun-drenched environment. Greenhouses are preferred to an open-air grow with the harvest generally occurring during the first few weeks of October. The LOG plants can produce up to 18 ounces of exceptional quality medicine.
