Yeah my lights are hydrofarm daystar with the glass reflector and they are air cooled. As far as the nutes I always mix micro to the rez then grow then bloom and so on......never mix them together.

Thanks for the response

Keep eliminating possibilities - the answer will become appearant.

I only have 95% of 1 dwc grow under my belt - and I expect the next round to improve, but I used Botanicare Pure Blend Pro series. My friend uses the same nutes (PBP) with an Ebb & Flow sys; and he has no issues after getting dialed in.

Don't buy hype in nute programs - use what works for you. Don't be afraid to try something different, but go easy and slowly.

Also about that water,,,, - water is key to a good grow. I would find what needs to be done to insure your water isn't an issue. If you are using city water - you can contact your local water dept and request a copy of their water testing. That will be a smoking gun as to the plants "Life blood". With all the health nuts and hobby gardeners - this is not an unusual request, so don't worry about raising suspisions. Also should be avaiable on-line with most large cities

If you are more rural, water testing results should be available with the county offices - they will have results that are more regional - but still give a decent idea. If your on a well, that could be a problem.

Whats your roots look like?

they don't look the best, not slimey but there turning brown. The buds are growing (not as fast as they should) but the leaves look like shit as you can tell. 2 more weeks and these are coming down and what a relief it will be!!

harvest at 6 weeks of flower?
Is that a fooking incredible strain or WHAT?

shyeet mang, -- may as well start a flush - straight pH'd water and see what happens.

roots gotta be happy for the plant to be happy.

Your roots sound like the roots in my DWC - which were AFU cause I started with a lower pH . I also elected to flower out the plants but changed the pH and stopped mixing the ferts together - and roots (and the plants) are looking better, - and have fresh growth.

Not saying your pH is off - just conditions are not idealized for MASSIVE root growth - and when the roots are massive - it never fails the tops are too.

or,, is it happy tops make for happy roots. -- (Bong hit philosophy)

What a great hobby if you can smoke the mistakes!

(Not to make humor of your problems)

Sure,, my harvest is decimated but my knowledge has grown immensely.

:ast thing I can add, you say the problem has occured before - at the same time in the same manner, using the same ingredients and I submit to you, It is illogical to expect different results when utilaizing the same techneic.

there's that bong hit thing again.

I understand the possibility of different strains and requirements etc, just saying I'd change something on the next run.

sumtin else,,, old nutes can change and turn lethal to plants. -

yes I have tested it out of the tap, that is where I get 440ppms from. So Ninja says to up the nutes and stitch says to lower, Im not sure what to do here.........

using tap for hydro??? i myself would not do it
the 440 pm could be anything.

You should put both tubs under one light and shut the other one off.

And build two tubs, each 6'x6', one for each light if you want to utilize your footprint properly.

i have this same problem and can't figure out what it is. i measure the tap water and got 250ppm, so that should be good, but no. i am trying a water filtration sytem now and gonna see if it works. and it can't be a problem with the feeding schedule because have been using it for years with great success. but i recently move to a different city and now i have to figure this shit out. what's funny is that at my old place the tap water ppm is 250 as well. is it possible that something in the water can not be measure with tds?

actually they are a 7 week strain and finish is 7 weeks on time every time. give them a shot Dynamite is great bud. As far as the problem I know its not my light being to much. I always have grown with a 1000k over a 3x3 and had great results, but the last few times Im running into this problem plus I switched locations. A 6x6 for a 1000k is way to much in my opinion. The outter plants would get not very much light. Mine problem is nute related.......i think.......also low humidity may have helped......thanks for ya'll help!!

BTW, what's the name of your strain?

Most my goodies are in the 90 plus day neighborhood. I'm far more interested in quality than quanitity, but sometimes it might be nice to have a different option.

thx

Before you give up on hydro, take the hard part out and do as Hydro-Soil said and try FloraNova series. It really makes things very easy.
