So my TDS-EZ came in the mail yesterday.

Checking the PPM of my water supply and my reservoir resulted in these numbers...

Water - 280 ppm
Nutes - 970 ppm

doing some handy math...

Water - .56 EC
Nutes - 1.94 EC

Do these number sound right / high to you?

Do what works best for you but FWIW, that's almost double the EC that is currently in my reservoirs for flowering plants.

That base water EC seems high, but not inaccurate. Do you have hard water?

I dont use AN (snakeoil) but your EC (1.4 over tap) seems about right too.

If Ca is the source of your high water EC, you might think of trying something with a lower N:Ca ratio (most are 1:1; GH Micro drops it to ~ 4:1; Your hard water [if Ca based] makes up for the rest).

Feel free to search my history, ive got plenty of pictures, they are not all the best, but ive tried a shit ton of nutrient lines; they all source their ingredents from the same suppliers, they have no 'fairy dust',

Some are more pH stable than others, some are less expensive, GH is both, AN is neither.

(PBP is a great series, and if i were to grow solely with liquid ferts, i would recommend Technaflora BC)
