3 gallons

Is 3 gallons of soil per plant too small for flowering? Seems like it is to me, but have some 3 gal grow bags already.

3 gallon pots or bag should be fine, but it really depends on the strain Ur growing and how long your gonna veg them before you flower them.

"giant cindy"

c99 x GreenGiant (i think "green giant" is BigBud X Shiva skunk)

And I planned to veg for 3 weeks to a month. I know c99 stretches like hell during flowering, but couldnt find much info on "giant cindy".

Might do 5gals instead of 3 if I can scrape up some money for some more soil.

3 gal is fine. I have plants in 1, 2 and 3 Gal containers. I find the 2 and 3G containers produce slightly larger colas than the 1G though. But not really any difference between 2 and 3G containers for yeild.

Cheers,

There are only a few cases where I'd wished I'd had used 5 gallon instead of 3,but for just about all cases 3 gallons was plenty. If you only have 4 ft of vertical space you OK in 3 gallon

I found these 3gallons that are tall/narrow, verses how a 5gal is wider than these and they work great. When i first got one of em, i was using 2gals and 5 gals, but anything i put in the 3gal, excelled all the others. Now, I hunted down about 20 of this things for free and usually only these.
I am truly convinced a taller pot yields more.Anyone have comments on this.

I have thought of getting a wide pvc pipe and cutting it to 3ft, and grow something to see if my theory is correct.
