Aaacually...

I was wondering if I could get a lil help :chin: I seem to be having a little problem, I suspected a root problem so I pulled the runt and...
closer...

So, keep in mind that I use FloraNova but, do those roots look like they might be trying to fight off some rot?
These plants were the ones that have tipped me off to the problem, signs also point to toxicity but they are drinking more water than nutes (PH stays stable while water level in the res drops along with PPM's)
This tray wont fill up with 2pounds at this rate  anyone HELP?!?!

And i dont know what this is, I thought thripes but no sign of them. EJ Catalyst foliar feeding mabe?

Have you been foliar feeding with the lights on? The leaf in the bottom picture looks as though it has been wet while under a light.

Hey Igrow. Good luck with this grow my friend. I too am guilty of looking but not posting so here it is. We're all rooting for you bro. You've got one of the brightests minds offering advice as Texas Kid has his shit together. Hope you find the root (no pun) of the problem you are having! Peace. :canabis: TJ

YUP... I foliar fed like 15min before lights on. The leaves were still wet when the lights came on...1 problem figured out 1 to go.
Thanks for the support everyone :friends:

I've had a few plants lately that have done the same curling thing while all other plants around it are kickin ass.

I thought at first I was over-saturating the grow media and it was retaining to much moisture to process while the lights were off. Changed water cycles and duration and it didn't seem to make a difference.

Thought it was nute diffeciancy but everything is solid and because it is only a few plants of 20 I can't see any other markers on other plants. Thought it may be a buildup in the media so I flushed the hell out of it and still the same.

The one common thread for all of the plants that have been affected by this is they were clones for outside sources. None of my from seed plants or clones that I have taken from myt mothers. Even if I veg for an extended time prior to flowering or take clones from the mother, root, and then flower something is happenin. In veg they look great and it only is popping up in flower.

I just lost a pair of beautiful Chocolate Chunks and another two as well to the same thing. I pull mine quick though, I don't really try and fix them very much if none of the other plants are affected. I look at it as a kind of anomoly that happen every once in a while. I am sure there is a real fix for it if I could identify wtf it is.

I will look up tonight in the indoor bible

Igrow,

That is root rot. What are your temps in the res? They should always stay 70f or below. Also the medium may be staying to wet....also what is the humidity reading in the room with the lights on?

Good luck with them.

Peace :joint:

TK- Thanks for stoppin' by. I think it was the low ph, it didnt show up till i dropped the ph from the 6's to 5.7. What did you find?

Skunka-The temps in the room are 75-80 lights on and 65-70 lights off (but summer is coming). Humidity never climbes above 45, res temps are right at 69. The runt had about 1/4 the root mass the other ones had, so when the flooding became more frequent the runt continued to get worse and worse because of the plug staying too wet. or thats what I think. mabe

EDIT: -I flushed with clearex, for an entire lights on cycle. Im ph balancing new nutes now with a tds of 700 and a ph of 6.2. Foliar fed with a light dose of nitrozyme coco-wet & B-1. Any other suggestions guys? My ears are open!! :friends:

Then it has to be the medium is staying to wet too often perhaps, because everything else seems to be in order. You had some algee on the top of one of the plugs...thats never a good sign as it means its staying way to wet.

How often do you flood/water?

Peace

I flood every 4 hours during lights on and once during the night cycle. I use to not flood at night at all but I would walk in and they would be droopy droop droop

Looking good there. That HP cross you got there looks legit. Do you know what its crossed with? Cause true, "true" hp is precious and if that stuff is 75% HP pheno then you got a winner strain.

The drop at night is normal. All plants i've grown look droppy as hell during the night cycle. Probably because that are in the nightime respiration process.

You may want to water a little less until they get biggger esp @ night. Unless they really need it.

good luck and yeah we are all lurkin on here. HAH

The HP cross has been called "snowbud" around my growers circle too  If that helps at all

Snowbud aka Akorn
Breeder : THSeeds
Flowering Time : 55-60
Environment : Indoor
Origin : USA / Holland

This is another variety from the great northwest, originally brought over in 1995. The name Akorn was given to the plant by the people who grew it because of it's hard finished structure with tight cola's the size of "baby arms" make this plant a great producer the people who smoke this type called it snowbud because of it's incredible resin production, whatever you want to call this plant growers and smokers will just call it their favorite.
