This is my first thread on IC and my second run with this particular system. So, what up IC? Today is about day 6 veg. I will be flowering at around day 10.
Not much to post about right now so I will throw some pictures at you guys so you can get a feel for the room
Questions, comments, suggestions, etc always welcome...










This is how I turn my 240 dryer plug into several 120v plugs all run on a timer. I was thinking of starting a thread on it. If anyone is interested let me know.

Good start IGMO,

I have found that 30 plants in a 3x3 is to many in there and it significantly effects the overall yeild and vigor of the other plants. I find that I actually get more yeild when I run 20-24 of the 5.25" pots/plants in my 3x3 table setup and not more. If you run a true "SOG" setup and trim all the lower branches and side branch shoots off and only produce a single main cola style grow, 30-32 plants may work but I bet it gets crowded.

I grew 3 plants that put out just under a pound (5oz's each) in a much less confined growing area. You should be able to pull well in access of 2lb per cycle when you get it dialed in with 20-25 plants.

Keep in mind that in alot of cases growing indoors, more plants don't equal more yield sometimes it is just the opposite.

I have grown about every style and strain in my 3x3 and find 20-24 plants/clones that have been vegged for no less than 30-35 days, topped at least once with at least 5 more days until flipping to 12/12. Supercropping works well with some strains as well a LST training.

I've made most, if not all, of the mistakes you could possible run into so give me shout if ya run into any problems

i'll second that, very interested in dry plug, i built one for 4 outlets of 220v, but don't know you'd wire for that. nice setup, what the light covering those darlings? :smile:

I've found 16 plants per 3x3 tray works well if you stay on top of pruning so you get coverage deep into the canopy. I use 3 gallon bags with FF light Warrior mix. With everything dialed in 2 oz's a plant isnt too hard too pull with c02 and temps 85 and under. Like Tex stated I have found the same with running a true sog. If you x'ed the veg time and flowered right from rooted clone you should be able to come close to a zip per which is just under 2 elbows/

Thanks for stoppin' by everyone! I will get some pics and type out the plans for my dryerplug thingie asap. As for plant numbers, the only reason I have more plants vegging for shorter periods is because of well, the reduced veg time. As of right now, crops pay the bills and the faster turnaround the better. Growing topped bushes is probably one of my favorite methods of farming but it is simply cost prohibitive right now Also, this isnt OG and im not a jerk, so everyone feel free to share their systems, plants, thoughts, pictures, links etc. I wont get mad

You seem to have everything down and under control. Once you get a system down...it pretty much runs itself. I am a hydro guy also.......tried it all but aeroponics. I am experimenting with the drip method. I will have a thread up here soon on it.

That being said... You are running a 1000W over a 3 x 3... that seems a bit of an overkill... but you want to add another as well? Will you add another table too? or just run 2000W over a 3 X 3?

What nutes are you running and at what ppm/PH?

What sort of yields have you had previously on your table?

I'm running two 3 X 3 tables with two 600W lights... my first crack at it so I'm not really sure what to expect.

Over 3x3 tables SOG you really cant beat 600w'ers. I've used exclusivly 1000w'ers on my 3x3 tables and I can say it is overkill in the fact that it costs more to run them cool them..everything. Plus the 600's you can put far closer to the canopy so as to get the big thick colas that you need to hit 1GPW.

I run 16 clones per tray in 3 gal grow bags and I think Yield would actually increase overall with 600's as opposed to the 1000W'ers. This of course is based on growing in 3x3 tables sog. I'm not sure this thoery would apply to growing trees instead of Cola's.

For these reasons I'm switching all my lights over to the 600'w digital gigs. Bit of any outlay, but well worth it in the long run I'm calculating.
