They will live, but will suffer in production and quality. They really want 18 hour a day.

So if I wait until next week, will the autos be ok under 12/12 for the remainder of their time?
No.

No.

I did not want to be that abrupt, since may be female grower. If you want to postpone your photo's, could SCROG, Super Crop, or top plants. Old school books said to remove tops, of growing tips, every 2 leaf nodes, to create shorter bush, with more bud sites.

I do know that they are on a ticker and mistakes don't have time for fix themselves. I did not repot these and they are just too far in for me to stress them again and as I said, they have shot out some pistils so I will leave them in their pots. My next grow will definitely be new soil.

I did 100% strength last night and they look good this morning so I don't think it was too much. Hopefully it is perfect and they will green up for me.

Now, here is my big question. I want to go 12/12 some time next week as the photos are getting tall and I would like them to double or triple from where they are now. I don't have the "ceiling" space for something taller than 3-3½" feet. So if I wait until next week, will the autos be ok under 12/12 for the remainder of their time?

You can transplant them. They will be fine. Leaving them in that medium they are currently in will do more harm than transplanting them to a better one.

Was not meant to be abrupt mentioning going 12/12 on autos...you'll get a lackluster finish and harvest., hence a suscinct "No" regarding lighting regimen w/ autos.

You'll learn through the growing process, making mistakes. Read what others have offered up as far as suggestions, read other sections on auto growing....and next experience will have a better outcome....provided same experiences are not repeated.

Best of everything.

It's all cool. He answered a question. No big deal. I just ordered some Fox Farm nutes online. Should be here next Monday (hopefully sooner).

As far as the 12/12, one auto is shooting out pistils and the other 2 are doing absolutely nothing, but getting bigger. So I will stay 18/6 for another couple weeks and decide then what to do.

My photos are bushing out and getting really big. That is why I want to go 12/12, but I can wait.

You have enuf spray bottles around ..add a teaspoon of your pee to one, fill with warm water ...spray 2-3 times per day for 2 weeks, avoid drinking the water ....lol

but you really need to ask ."Why fed with (N) if you are heading heading for bud with them pistols out???"

Yeah we're kinda past that. One is actually budding and the other two have pistils. Will leave them alone and the photos will have to just keep vegging.

In my limited experience with autos I found that what everyone said regarding potency was true. Autos definitely dont do it for me anymore, I know i used to say other wise. But since moving to photoperiods I havent touched autos.

I got a above average yield with my Sweet Mango Auto, I had them potted in 30 liter final pots. Only 1 transplant, started them in dixie cups. 18-6 from start to finish, no topping or training.

I was ripping out fan leaves but I was told even that was a mistake yet I was happy with my final yield and taste. Only thing left me wanting for more is the potency.

Potency has improved greatly. Ours (afterthought autos) have potency between 16-20%+.

So, I guess it's all in the selection and research you find before procuring.

Well I wanted to see what was going on and since I can't see I have to take pictures. I figured I'd post some. The autos are 5 weeks today.

Hey! Looking much better. As for the Nitrogen I read somewhere that autos like a bit more N throughout the grow, even in flower.

I know this might be obvious but if you are doing both regular plants and autoflowers make sure the afs stay close to the light as your other plants stretch - ya know? Prop them up on something or have one light further down giving them lights and hitting up some of the lower branches on your bubbalicious plants.
