250watt Small Percy Grow Need Help Building a cab

I have a 2x2x4 cab 250w cmh and a s&p silent 150 fan on low.

I also scrog and use a giant 27 gal container of organic soil

Use insulation from home builders store. Not sure what one, but some are rated for sound too it's on of the name brand companies. I have had people in the same room as my cab and no one noticed.

No normal style soft stuff. I cut it to shape then put it inside garbage bags duct taped closed. Works very well!

google "acoustic foam panels"...little pricey, but works great!

I grow in a space about that size and run 100 watts cfl in veg/clone side and 400 watts hid in the flower side. heat can be hard to control but I have managed with just a cool tube and controlling ambient temps. and pull more than 2 oz even when running low yielding strains
perpetual sog style. keep 2 or 3 moms and just have cuts ready to go in when harvest time rolls around. no veg. straight into flower after rooting

Can i ask thatonedude what size of fan you running? for extraction
as i cant afford too buy twice.as i will be using all my cash to build this grow

I run 240 cfm and run a few degrees over room temp. I feel I could run a 400w with this fan.

hey icmag i was thinking of making my cab 4ft long x 2ft depth x 8ft tall..6ins extraction
on speed controller. 3 x 6ins holes for passive intake. i calculated this size of cab would give me using 400watts 50watts per square ft, but if i use 600watts that would give me 75watts per square ft..is this overkill ?..irish...

As long as you can cool the 600 its not over kill
