250w HPS users....

I think its BS. That bulb would put out 160 lumens/watt which would make it even more efficient than the 600w bulbs. The company doesn't post the specs. I wonder why?

Yeah I dont buy any bulb without knowing spectrum now anyhow, as that's the most important thing for me. Buy a grow room designed bulb with a decent wide spectrum of colour, rather than a cheap high lumen bulb which could be giving out the incorrect wavelength of light anyhow.

The best 250w bulb I have used, and currently using, is the Omega dual spec HPS, which has kept my plants really healthy and my yield looks up.

Look at the OSRAM POVERBALL HCI-TT 250W / 942 NDL PB and HCI-TT 250W / 830 SUPER 4Y, it is a CDM / CHM discharge lamps that operate on HPS ballasts.
If you use 250 watts discharge lamps might even attract you.

Yeah that's in coco, they do love it. My grows are simple as I can get,

60cm x 60cm Black Orchid tent, 4" extract fan, small circulation fan
4 plants trained with LST, supercopping if they get too large
6.5 litre plastic square pots
Canna Pro coco out the bag
Hand fed once daily to run off, shortly after lights on
Nutes; Canna A&B, Rhizotonic, pk13/14. I get up to 2.5ml/l A&B, I use Rhizo & pk half strength
pH 6.0 (i let the reservoir bucket raise to 6.4pH before dropping it back down)
Water temps 18-20degC, Tent/Root temps 18-23degC 55-60%rh average, leaf temp 25degC max (i keep an eye on it with a temperature gun lol)
Omega ProPar 250w MH and dual spec HPS bulbs used, in a Powerplant sunmate reflector, lumii digital ballast

I forgot to say I just use tap water (mine is pretty hard 0.6EC). I basically have a basic 20 litre bucket and lid, with a small 25w tank heater. Does me a few days then rather than constantly mixing up feed. I know 2 full pipettes of ph down gets it perfect, so i pretty much don't use meters all the way through flower nowadays. As i say, i just try to keep it as simple and easy as I can get, and coco allows me to chill and just feed to run off each day, and let the plants to their thing, I dont think I can make it any easier for myself

I pull them out the tent and use a milk crate in a tray for my drain



Tip run off away and done. Sometimes i will feed them in there and use a towel to mop up later in flower, if i dont want to move them. But i like pulling them out to keep an eye on them and also swivel their position in the tent so they get light from all angles

Just in time, I have broken my yield record with that last Green Poison round, everything must of come together.

#1 63g
#2 58g
#3 71g
#4 55g

So a total of 247g, so close to GPW! I did throw some air popcorn bud into my hash jar which would probably of got me there though. Interesting thing is for me, if I had 4x of #3 plants, i could of potentially yield 284 grams! The smaller plants yielded better this round, as I made sure they were raised up to the light unlike previous rounds.

Hi everyone, found this tread and it's looks more fitting. Door awesome pull on the last go. I'd be happy if my cab pulls around 170g roughly 1.5oz/ plant. Im just starting the 2nd week of flower today, I have my grow pretty dialed for its first run. Got like 6 more weeks to go still.

I'm pretty happy with my small flower set-up of 250w, I harvest 150/200g each time, my average gpw is better than my 600w box where I get around 350/400g.
