working on getting the barn sealed up good for the winter. got a new secret jardin intense 16+8 to do a 6k run or 2 in until i get the rooms built.any ideas to heat the tent when i switch to 12/12? cant heat the room the tents in because its 24+100 with no insulation or sofet an fascia cold winter air blows right in the barn. other than the heating problem all is well. sorry for the delay of the pics an updates, been very busy in chronic land..also i should change the name of this thread to 12k from start to finish. i have lots of pics i will be getting up soon..
You need to insulate the pole barn. I would recommend doing that before anything at all, and i would recommend spray foam insulation. I would not put any tents in there. partition 1/3 of the barn off and use it as veg and use the rest as flower.
first run in the secret jardin will be 20 ,chernobyl 1 lemon Larry 1 bubble berry power kush and one skunk kush. They will be flowering under 6 1000 watt.IF all go well will be stating 12/12 today or tomorrow!
If youre still looking for spray foam, Wickes lumber in Grand rapids does/did it and I'm sure any of the Wickes can get it done or point you in the right direction. .
I ran the crew that installed it many many moons ago. its worth its weight in gold.
You can't rent the machine as far as I know, the chemicals required is some pretty nasty shit. Ours was in the back of a big box van and it took up all of it with the hoses and equipment needed.
