I was told by a reputable indoor grower that if you give your plants 24 -48 hours dark right before you harvest they will be extra frosty in the end. Anyone have any experience with this? I saw some GREAT results from this method so i believe in it so far.
Thanks for the info people! Guess i wolnt be trying that anytime soon but i am curious about the whole 7 hours on 12 off cycle that has been discussed on here. Will it work with all strains or only realylstable ibl's & heirlooms?
That's a completely different topic, all it does is speed up harvest time with a proportional decrease in yield. It's actually 6:40/12, no 7 hours. The reason for this is so that you can use a 7 day timer so you only have to set it once.
i found that a day of darkness before chop has no benefits but i would like to do an experience to give it a full day of light before chop to see what its effects are
Is that a fact? Not that I don't believe you, just that I have always noticed that some of my lower buds that were a little shaded from the over head canopy, were always a little more crystally compared with the top buds closest to the light. I guess this could be due to the lights heat? Just thought I'd ask. Thanks!
