I have it packed with 5 females now.. 2 will be run from day 1. The other 3 started in the main room for 30 days but I moved them to finish in the tent. I dimmed it to 450 watts.
I bought a cheap par meter and after checking par/DLI under our cheap light I had to turn it down to 550w to keep things in line....our cheap light is actually pretty efficient.
Speaking of cheap lights...the Wantye is doing great! Had a couple plants that weren't doing great, and placed them under it for more attention and easier access. Light runs cool and bright. Plants have come around and are doing much better.....seedlings in back will spend their whole life under it....Critical +2.0 auto and a Northern Lights auto both from seedsman. The others under it are a White widow(seedsman) in front and a Strawberry Gorilla auto from Fastbuds.

I got some White Widow, couple auto's and a Freakshow vegging under our cheap light right now.....flipping in a couple weeks.

Ive never used one so no clue. If your garden will improve from using it maybe.
Won't help in the grow I don't think....just be nice to know what spectrum works best, and maybe help future light purchases with that knowledge. Be able to see what our lights spectrum looks like in comparison. I'm trying to talk myself into it. Probably frivolous, but I want one lol.

Some serious praying going on there! Looks great :canabis:
No kidding. May be first time I had to move leaves in that position to see the flowers. Almost done trimming on 2 Cinderella 99 plants. About 1/4 plant left to trim and jar. Look forward to trying those in few months. Lights doing well, stays fairly cool but I do run a fan above hitting the drivers.

Chopped CBD plant down over weekend and added couple of finicky sativa clones back. Cloned those when Blue Dream seeds germinated. Light doing fine. No change in PPFD readings

veg light too* weak for flower imo

1. PPFD for Weed

Weed requires 16 hours of light during their vegetative stage and 12 hours at the flowering stage. As mentioned earlier, a grower can either supplement CO2or not.

For regular weed growing, the PPFD for seedling stage is 100-300 µMol/m2/S; the PPFD for vegetation stage is 400-600 µMol/m2/S, and the PPFD for flowering stage is 800-1,000 µMol/m2/S.

When the CO2 supplement in weed growing, the PPFD in the seedling stage is 100-300 µMol/m2/S, while the vegetative stage requires 600-1000 µMol/m2/S PPFD and 400-800 ppm CO2. The flowering stage requires 1,000-1,500 µMol/m2/S PPFD and 800-1400 ppm CO2.

It is best to consult an expert grower before supplementing carbon dioxide when growing indoors. Sometimes, the increased inputs due to the use of CO2 may not justify the outputs you desire.

Maybe two side by side ? Then you could run one for veg and both for flower...but a different light may be a better option for you.

Day 19 on Blue Dream, start week one on C99. Gonna have do lot trimming on C99s. They took over front space. Blue dream in 5 gallon flower is slight ahead of 7 gallon per pics. Around 760 corners and 1000 ppfd mid areas. Top canopy 18" on sativas and 20-24" hybrids. Run 3 fans under canopy, one top canopy, one above light and big filter fan exhaust top.

You can get more wattage for less $ with a Wantye 360 watt for 90$.. Come with both IR/UV diodes. @driver77 is using one of these.

I just did a search on Amazon and found another deal.
AOKAIRUISI 800w led for 270$. They also have a 1kw for $299. No UV/IR

Lol..I had noticed the AOKAIRUISI lights...the diode count leads me to believe they are overdriving them to get the par, but just buy bigger than needed and run it at 75%....interesting light. The Wantye did ok at veg...it's a better flower light though...for the money it's well worth it.
