Cool Melkor is back with his kick arse fridge all bling bling, sweet.
Scrub, I soaked 11 Princess Diesel x Dynamite seeds on the weekend and all had sunk and had tails within 12 hrs, they are now in the sprouting cups but noone is pokeing up through the soil yet, hopefully I will have something to compare against you're Princess Diesel crosses.

Freakin' awesome! Man, today just gets better and better

Boom, I don't know if you noticed on the other thread but I finally got some jiffy pots like you suggested much earlier and they're the bomb! Pretty much the perfect consistency so basically I just drench them and by the next day or two they're nearly dry - perfect. I was waiting before for like a week or more sometimes before the medium would dry out, so I think (hope) all my earlier problems are dealt with. That's basically why I was waiting until I sprouted the PDs, till I discovered the perfect method. So thanks, and anyone reading this, buy jiffy pucks if you have problems raising seeds.

Also got a mate who will be growing a pd cross outdoors when the time is right for that

sweet bro, I had noticed the jiffys in a couple of photos back, but forgot to mention it, they are cool as, raising seeds will be a hassle free trip from now on my friend, glad i can be a help. Hopefully my PD x Dynamite s are showing their heads above the soil this arvo when I get home from work. Also am receiving 3 rooted 4" clones of the weed Snoop Dogg bought and smoked and raved about while on his recent tour of OZ couple of months back. Apparantly the weed knocked ol Snoop for a six and had a bit of a hard time completing his show. Any truth to this story??? dunno but I have tried the weed and fuck me it is some FIRE, so getting 3 clones for $50 is like a dream come true. Glad to see everything is cracking along @ your place bro.

Haha!!! What the hell... If it did that to snoop then yeah, sounds like money well spent, as long as they're legit. I think my earlier attempts at the pd crosses took 4 days or so...hope you get a surprise soon.

A while back snoop was broadcasting a show on the net where he just sits around on the net and blazes weed for like an hour.

Yeah bro, wallyduck, ducks foot's creator, is an aussie, although I think he lives in your country now, lol. What a coincidence.

I remember getting plants that were very mongy just like those when I was a kid and thinking they were useless. A tip I heard once is to keep pinching the top of any plant regularly, but not the whole tip, or even half of it like a FIM. You just snip enough so the tip keeps growing but the leaves all end up sort of like trimmed clone leaves. Dunno if it would work in practise though!

One thing about the "mongy weed", everyone shies away from the potency issue. I suspect it's pretty weak smoke. Peace.

Edit: I looked through my old computer and realised I've deleted all my very first pics from way back when I had the ducky leaves. Sad. All the construction pics from my computer cases, my first grows, gone. Damn you technology! My last hope is that I find a backup somewhere on a memory card but I doubt it.

Edit edit: thanks to Thund's thread, I purchased some smart pots! Great value. Cheaper (+free delivery) than buying a regular pot from bunnings, lol. I got 4 x 3 gallon - the #3.

Cheers Yeah last time under CFL 12/12 I think I took the pure 72 days or something close to that and it was maybe a tiny bit early. I'm seriously taking it to 108 days this time though, lol. We'll see how it turns out.

Cheese, if I am searching for them, I always get more results searching for "2g11" than "pll". PLL is not really the correct term, but it gets used a lot on icmag for convenience. If you say to hardware store guy (a lighting store would be a much better choice) you are interested in the 55w, 2g11 base, 4 pin, bi-axial fluoro, they may twig on. Otherwise HTG or some place like that has em (I think)

The wiring is complex, mannnn! Hydro-soil has a thread showing how to do it but I just bought the pre-made hood thing. Much simpler.

Hey ya Scrub, looking mighty fine broski, it is really starting to chunk now absolutely beautiful mate, On another note now the PD x Dynamites are not poking thru yet, checked on them and they all seem to be fine, tails are getting longer, so hopefully they are just slow starters. Also thought you might like a look @ a dried bud shot of the plant I chopped last week, just for shits and giggles:-

The scales kept flipping between 6 an 7 grams so I'm going with 6.5 grams
my micro CFL SOG is getting close to 8 grams a cut
on average.

Looks like 7 to me That's some danketty ol' dank right thurr, well done old bean. Did you ever see the bud lou grew under CFLs? I think he got a bit under an oz, maybe 23g-ish off of 3 x 23w bulbs. Does anyone remember what I'm talking about, lol? I might have a pic saved.

Edit: LOL I found it here. He doesn't mention the grams that I could see but still a great read. The showdown between the two greats! Rumble in the jungle! Those were the good old days.
