Making seeds in Veg:

Well I revegged some clones from late flower, as they cme out of it each branch at each node has like 1 calyx with pistils, kind of growing like preflowers would on a long vegged and mature plant.

So I thought maybe I can make some beans while they are in veg, kill 2 birds with one stone kinda heh. Ill post pics as it goes, looks like some of the pistils have shriveled, I wonder if I can get viable seeds this way, anyone else ever tried it?

yes I have I posted about it several times way back on og and here. plants that preflower heavily can be pollinated in veg and grow seeds.i have done this several times and grew out the seeds. no different than normal ones.i discovered this in the og days by accident. nobody seemed to care when I posted. for me it was interesting and a good way to make some seeds without messing with the flower area.seeds will def form and grow in veg area.you don't need 12/12, I have done it with 3 diff strains and it worked each time.

Superman is 100% correct. Preflowers can be pollinated in veg and will produce a single seed per preflower. Also, that seed will be a big, fat one. Ever find a seed that's much bigger than the others? Likely a seeded preflower

A preflower can be pollinated and grow a seed. Ive done it to make a few beans.

Even the preflowers in veg can be hand pollinated while in 24/0 and create a seed. As long as there is a calyx with 2 white hairs in it, it can be seeded at any time. The plant doesnt need the hormones to grow a preflower calyx or a seed. It needs the hormones to grow flowers.
