Damn sorry to hear Avinash, what can we say? Strange things happy in life we can't explain, rip.

Final update on my Dutch Passion Skunk #11. Final weight was only 21.1 grams dry, can't complain that's for sure. It is some good smoke. I will update later with a detailed smoke report. Good luck to everyone else.

.
y'all tell me... I'd be happy to start a voting thread and give ALL of icmag a peak into what we have done, give everyone a chance to chime in and vote....
who all is in the running for the win? as far as completed all teh way thru?
if each contestant who completed the challenge throws up ONE post outlining their ENTIRE yogi cup grow with pics, smoke report, etc. that would be best to show off each yogi cup grow in the voting thread for those that haven't followed along in this thread the whole time. of course this thread can be linked to the new voting thread for reference to those who want to see the entire show....

I'm not competing, simply because I didn't give 100%. Like someone previously said, anyone that made it to the end is a winner IMO.

Just put a seed between moist paper towels, going to give this yoghurt thing another go, but with a photosensitive strain. Found a single seed from a Pagoda bud, Pagoda x ?.

Thanks Trich and Jah for the support and kind words. Sorry to Avinash as in my time zone in the US it is still currently the 28th, After 8 pm. I am adding a smoke report but the forums are in I am guessing Euro time? As it says it is currently 5/29/15 after 2 am, 6 hour difference. Good job to everyone that competed in the contest.

# Smoke expansion: [5(hard to rate)] (Rate how the smoke expands in the lungs from 1-10 stable-explodes.)

# Smoke test comments:

Taste: Fresh lite bowl or volcano vap bag smells of sweet fruits and melon. Never smelled cannabis that had a melon smell or taste. I can say for sure I like the taste of her.

Effect: 80% body high 20% head high. The 80% body high is very pleasant after 3 or 4 bowls(12 hits) or 2 vap bags. Not super heavy on the body just makes your body painless and makes you happy. That 20% head high keeps you awake for the first 3-4 hours but after continuously smoking it goes away and is a heavier high.

============================== ====================
FOLLOW UP QUESTIONS
============================== ====================

(Address final questions immediately after effects have worn off.)

# Dosage: [1 gr. pure bud out of bong/1 gr out of the vap and 3 garms in the blund. Each one where very similar with the blunt being heavier aka sinking into the sofa and the vap being the most intense for the first 30 mins after vaping two straight bags.] (Enter the number of hits taken to reach desired effects.)

# Effect onset: [Bowl was 10 hits or so, whole blunt and 2 full volcano vap at 430 degrees. They all hit immediate so [10] for that.] (Rate how quickly the effect hit from 1-10 immediate-major creeper.)

# Sativa influence: [2] (Rate the sativa influence detected from 0-10 none-extreme. Sativa influence is best described as a clear and energetic mental effect.)

# Indica influence: [8] (Rate the indica influence detected from 0-10 none-extreme. Indica influence is best described as a sedative, lethargic or numbing effect that affects the body.)

# Potency [7] (Rate the potency of the sample from 0-10 none-devastating.)

# Duration [1 hour 30 mins but I smoke tons so I am always high.] (Indicate the number of hours the effects lasted.)

# Tolerance build up [3 (likewise exploz, hard to judge only smoking it for 3 days lol.] (Rate how quickly tolerance builds from 0-10 none-rapid. Leave this field blank if you have not used this sample repeatedly.)

# Usability: (Rate on a scale of 1-9 where a one indicates the worst time of day to consume this strain and a nine represents the ideal time of day. Leave field(s) blank if you have not yet formed an opinion.)

# Overall satisfaction: [6] (Rate your overall satisfaction from 1-10 poor-Holy Grail.)

# Ability and conditions [8] (Rate your overall ability to judge from 1-10 low-high. Consider experience, strain familiarity, atmosphere, current tolerance and most importantly the condition and preparation of the sample.)

# Judging from the sample alone do you personally consider this
strain a keeper for long term use. [Not for me as I have premium cuts but for some I am sure it would be. It's the best good good going around my town currently which is sad LOL.]

# What effect did the strain have:
(Rate the noticable effects on a scale of 1-9 mild-severe. Take care to use the appropriate column for your response. Delete the existing space when recording your entry to maintain the columns in alignment. In all cases these casual observations should not be construed as medical advice.)

(Check [P] off if the you got a POSITIVE EFFECT and check [N] if you had a NEGATIVE EFFECT)

[7] [P] Ability to rest or sit still
[3] [P] Anxiety relief
[6] [P] Appetite
[2] [P] Audio perception
[1] [P] Humor perception
[0] [N/A] Imagination/creativity
[3] [P] Paranoia relief

[5] [P] Pain relief
[1] [N] Speech process
[0] [N/A] Taste perception

Final comments: Beautiful growing strain of genetics by Dutch Passion. Not the most potent but she would do in times of needing a decent Indica. However she doesn't even compare to my GHS Chemdog keeper. I plan on running atleast 2 Chemdogs next round with a few others. I already want to start another round :woohoo:.

What do you guys mean in your smoke reports when say 'back rolled' for the joints?

exploziv

The paper is rolled with glue facing outside and the extra paper is cut or burned away, instead of being overlapped and inside the joint. Google will show you excly what i mean if you can't immagine it based on this description. The ideea behind it is less paper burned so the taste is better and the smoke is a bit less harsh and somewhat healthier.

Sounds like the best plan of action. Let everyone that may not pay to much attention to this section of the forum also vote on the "Contests" to truly get a good portion of votes. Plus it will make others get interested in the whole idea of doing this. My father and brother thought I was crazy for doing this lol. Now they see what the actually limits are and how much one can achieve from using small amounts of soil. Which is why we switched to 3 gallon smart pots instead of 5 as it was over kill for 5'x5'x7' tents only holding 6 plants total. Still pull over 4 pds per 4 months with clones even with less soil. Wasting coco is money in my pocket so the less the better. I for one am glad Avinash created this contest as it changed my thoughts on how much soil one needs so I :tiphat: to you sir. Good luck to everyone!

Here is my "small" review of the grow, Avinash.miles.

Review of the grow:
It all started when I got 100% germination rate on 4 Swazi Rooibard seeds. They were kept under a 13W DIY led panel for the first 2-3 weeks, then under a 150W MH bulb for the next 4 weeks, including the first 2 weeks of flowering. I got 2 females that I kept and 2 males that i discarded from the 4 plants. After sexing them and seeing first buds starting to form I put them under a "120W" led panel (80% Red spectrum and about 90 real W) under which I kept them till the end.
Sadly around middle of flowering I was very high around them and decided to leave them dry out for some hours before watering, so I turned the automatic watering system OFF and then forgot I have to turn it again and left. When I remembered, after about 10 hours they were barely hanging with all fan leaves crisp dried. Both plants looked like they will gonna come back, but the roots were fucked up by the drought and one of the plants died a couple of weeks after the incident. This one was barely hanging to the end, and the stress from the drought episode probably stressed it, cause it finished 1-1.5 weeks faster than usual, just a bit after 12 weeks of flowering, compared to the usual 13 or so weeks of flowering. Harvest was just under 5 gr. dried. Not bad for my first try at growing in such a small cup.

so should we ask mrs. cat if she rates '8-sex drive' and '6-sleep' as positives, if you almost fell asleep?
